There is a new feature on CarbonPoker to Buy/Sell tournament entry coupons.
Did anyone use it before? Where can I find the list of coupons for sale?

Hmmmm... there doesn't seem to be much information on this feature. Maybe it's not active yet, and there will be more instruction on its use in the future.

Addendum: I'm not even seeing anything on Google about it.

Purely a guess mind you, but I'm thinking Carbon/Merge is not looking to get into the auction biz. ....edit a few minutes later...maybe they are!

Pretty sure any deals made would be between people who know each other.

I'll try not to go overboard on assuming here...

But this would be the best thing ever for their satellites... since they use the coupon system and don't allow a player to take T$. Even if I took a small hit on the value of the coupon, it would be way +ev vs having to try and play the coupon to recoup any value out of it.

A regular satellite player would make out very well with this feature with the increased number of players willing to play a satellite to a $20+ buy-in.

MTT "Regs" would also benefit from being able to pay a slightly-reduced price to get into the games if they so choose.

The site would make all kinds of rake on the satellites, even if they didn't take a cut of the buying and selling between players.

If it worked out well, I could get back to grinding satellites like I used to on The poker site That Shall Not Be Named.

I'm curious about this feature. I have a tourney coupon i've been holding onto for the longest time. I see the form that needs to be filled out. But after i hit submit which i haven't done yet. What will happen next?

Will potential buyers see it and contact me somehow?

Somebody needs to either post the Carbon Rules about this, or get a response from Carbon about it.

I won an $11 ticket yesterday and thought about sacrificing it to this procedure in the interest of community info sharing. Instead I got in a tourney and got sucked-out on..........

I read on '4' by CarbonRyan some posts about this... but the last one I read was
Dec.12/2011

Hey guys,

Great news, we have all been throwing ideas around the last few days, and have come up with a process for allowing you to broker the sale of your tournament tickets to other players for cash.

I will make a new thread in the next couple of days outlining the process in more detail once we iron out all the kinks.

I just asked 'CarbonRyan' about it & am still waiting for a response.

It's good for players of all buy-in levels. Higher stakes players can increase their ROI by searching out tickets they can buy at a discount. Low-to-mid stakes players have another avenue to make profit and move up in stakes. Satellites that pay out in T$ or give players some other avenue to profit from them, especially if there's incentive to play multiple satellites regardless of whether a player has earned a ticket, create a huge boost to the poker economy of all levels. There's no rational argument against it. The way Merge runs their satellites has held back their high stakes tournaments.

Any news on this yet? I recently completed my initial deposit freeroll period and was lucky enough to win several tickets, most of which I'd be willing to sell for the BR boost since I'm not really a tournament player.
