My BR is now $151 mainly from freerolls, micro sats,1c/2c ring, micro sng.
i am trying to improve and learn as much as i can, but having fun at the same time.
forget bad beats, keep studying, practise good BR management, have fun.
i have just become aware of 'pot equity','hand ranging' and 'fold equity'
which i have never incorporated into my game.(playing by 'feel')
it is a slow process to become a good poker player it takes time
and effort.the more time and effort the better you will become as a player.
when i rail the big buyin tourney's,i try to understand the thinking
behind the play's.
some of them mystify me but sometimes i see otherwise good players
making basic mistakes
position,stack size,fold equity,pot equity,hand range,
player tendencies,3 bets,icm,pot odds
,reverse pot odds
bluffs, reads, these are a few of the things to think about.
(quite a lot actually)
what i am trying to say is to take your time, learn as much as you can and have fun.
for instance i have yet to do any kind of serious hand analysis
i dont use a HUD or tracking software,i dont analyse player stats.
there is a lot i'm aware of but have'nt got my head around (yet)
i know i still have lots to learn (a lifetime)
but it is great fun
if you are just depositing and losing then redeposit and lose again you are just gambling,
IMO that is NOT playing poker (plenty of articles on BRM)
erm this post may be in the wrong place please move if it is
