Bug Could not Rebuy in a Tournament
I was playing the iPOPS Speed tournament on iPoker and I had a problem with the rebuy. Rebuy was allowed if equal or less than 1500 chips. On the first hand I hit Rebuy but it somehow misfired and the option went gray. 2nd hand I try rebuy again but option still gray.
So I click on auto early rebuy to see if it will work: Nope. I contact support and the guy was clueless. He asked me for the hand. I say What? And I told him I'm playing a Speed tourney no time to search hands while I have 1 Speed tourney and 4 other tourneys open.
I finally give him the hand number, he replied "You folded that hand". Duh!!! lol. Anyway after explaining the situation again, he said that they will investigate the bug; but I don't expect anything good to come out of it.
I usually rebuy and addon in rebuy tourneys as it is a mistake not to. So I was at a disadvantage compared to others that could rebuy.
Those situations added to high variance remind me why I don't move up in stakes.
Also on another iPoker site there was a bug preventing me to access the full site. It took me 2 hours in chat to make them just ADMIT that there was a problem with their server. Before that they wanted me to reinstall the software and clear my cache and cookies. I said NO! YOU have a bug, my system is not the problem.
The next day the bug was fixed.
