Yeh I heard its a nightmare.

I just went on twitch and saw it. Looks like the mobile client, not impressed one bit. Sure hope they fix it.

What did they change? I just opened it as well and didn't see much of a difference.

HUD is not a big problem for me.
I am switch to manual hud.:D
but I could only handle 2 tables now...:(

I emailed them and got the most annoying generic response of all time. It's disappointing because their customer service is usually very good to me and I've commended them on that many times via email and here as well. So I emailed them again and was still very blatantly ignored. online poker will die if sites keep treating players this way. Considering casino's go out of their way to sweep you off your feet with free booze and comps they'd better wise up. Because they're going to be the end of themselves in the long run if they keep it up. Customer service goes a very long way in my book, it can make or break a relationship between product and consumer. I'm not in a rush but I'll gladly take my money elsewhere if it comes to it. Here is my second correspondence with them.

The tables were at least loading a little better today. They're still quite laggy and it's annoying af to look at though.

Yea Im not a fan of Bovada, but play there because traffic was best in USA. Now wondering if it will be best if it stays this way. It barely works for me at all, I have a older comp already, any action in the software for me has a 15 - 20 second delay now, worthless. And yes the responses have been generic and uninspiring. Oh well. Looks like Im going to BCP now.

I doubt the huds work anymore, they are designed to work with specific software, now that software has changed, so doubtful until the huds reprogram - best of luck with that one anytime soon.

I would have said it was not possible to make this site less appealing, never underestimate the arrogance & incompetence of the folks who run online poker sites.

Hud = Heads Up Display.


It is what a lot of people call tracking software like Poker Tracker and Holdem Manager, they come with a feature that shows the stats of the players on the table so your head doesn't need to look away from the screen to see the data, therefore it's a heads up display.

Hope that helped, I wouldn't worry too much, they are a thing of the past, I hope the poker sites go ahead and ban that kind of software.

+1 for ScooperNova. I deleted Bovada even before the update. How could it be worse than it was before ??

Currently in ACR and couldnt be happier.

It's for sure the mobile client. It has the glitch where if you tick the "Call 0.25" button ahead of time, it will snapcall any and all raises that might take place before action gets to you - So don't tick that button!

Pretty weird.

It's not really every a good idea, IMO, to select any of those buttons. Just wait until it is your turn and do it then.

Omg I loved Bovada. Now it's virtually unplayable. This is the worst update I've ever seen to any site.

Bovada fix

The latest update from Bovada sucks big time and that's being kind. I called them to express my disappointment and let them know I'm moving on. I spoke to their support and believe it's fixed the situation.

Uninstall software. delete all files on your computer with Bovada in the name. Clear search history and cookies from beginning of time. Close browser. Open browser (chrome is recommended) and reinstall. Should work.

It's not quite as good as it was but waaaaaay better. Hope this helps someone.

I'll give this a try, thanks for posting. I'm on the verge of a full cash-out myself, having all the buttons disappear when you 3-bet preflop with AA and wind up folding to a 4-bet because the software locks up is completely unacceptable.
