Bovada: Is this right or ridiculous?

On Bovada, after 24 hours your hand history is downloadable along w/ the ability to view every players hole cards (shown below).

You can make the argument that its anon players so it doesn't matter. How about in cases like this? A CC Private tourny. Players (including myself) out themselves in the forums. You can literally go back and watch how they played the whole tournament.

Is this right or immoral? Seems to be cheating to me.

and what happens when in a tournament players change seats? i will have "outed" myself for what, 10-15 hands? which you will of course remember because you are not playing anything else that day except for that single tournament, right? and besides, how will that help you in the next tourney (which is what matters anyway)? it may amount to "cheating" if you consider all HUDs cheating, but... seriously, don't troll

... and if you are so worried, don't "out" yourself.

Not trolling lol. And apparantely you've never mucked a hand and not wanted anyone to know what it was.

Nothing to do with game volume. And CC tourneys you change your seat 3x MAX (3 tbl max) Not hard to keep track of for a competent person.

Doesn't bother me enough to not out myself and it was a genuine ? of opinion. Who is trolling? :thefinger

Sounds like a huge waste of time to me.

I have a hard enough time making myself look at ONE of those HH's during the game, nevermind looking at a bunch after it's over.

I have no intentions of wasting my time doing this.


Just saying that if you are a bad player and you found out a player that is very good. Then watching someone's play throughout the tourny is available (advisable even) on Bovada.


Thought it was something good players may like know they are exposed to.

oh yeah that could help the cheaters game someone would have to take alot of time to do work but nothing is ever too hard to figure out.

Really glad I came across this, thank you for bringing it to my attention.
I think this is really sad showing all whole cards even if the so players had mucked their cards purposely. Pretty much all you have to do is film the game that is going on on your screen and then go back and compare it to these downloaded charts. You will be able to figure out who had what and when.
I don't like this, it should be a violation of rights here. If there are other sites that do this, please send me a PM if you have the time and let me know. If I find out any of the sites I use do this, I will never play on those sites again and submit many many complaints.

As far as I know this is the only site that allows this. Probably justified by them bc the players are anon.

But we @ CC play on sites like this together so I thought I would mention it.

So I am not trying to disrespect this client in any manner but am glad to know the capabilities offered to its users.

I'm actually a frequent player there. Not a bad site. Great with payouts. And this obviously isn't a problem for everyday play when you don't expose who you are. Just in the rare cases where you do expose yourself.
