Bovada Poker promotion April 22 - June 2

want to give everyone a heads up about the upcoming Bovada Poker promotion, starting Mon April 22 and going to June 2
This will be 6 weeks long (each week is Mon thru Sun as usual), and each week you can earn cash bonuses

50 points = $10 ..... 100 points = $25 ..... 200 points = $50

The nice thing this time around is bonus payouts will be done differently. Instead of waiting for the end of each week, as soon as you have enough pts for any bonus, it is credited the next day. They are not cumulative so if you passed the higher bonus levels throughout the week, the difference in the bonus amount earned would be issued each following day, with $50 being the total amount you can receive each week.

Nice, thanks for pointing this out. I've found these sorts of promotions to be very good for me. Not so good for my relationship with my GF, as I am grinding these points out at 10nl.

I couldn't imagine grinding it out at 5NL. I've put in about 4 hours in the last two days (all I can manage with the GF and kid) and I'm just a hair under 50 points. Getting 200 points in a week, at 5NL, would take far too many hours.

I guess it's possible to get the 50 points. It might be possible to get the 100 points, if you're really putting in long sessions. It's also hard because the limit is 4 tables. If you could play 8-12 tables, it would be a whole different story.

Just signed up ($100) 3/20. Figgered I could clear $50 in sign-up bonus at .02-.05. Cleared the $50 4/20, and having ran well, get it to $260.

Then I find this promotion (thank you again, MisterLongFace). Seems I'm obligated to try and get to 100 points a week, to clear $25/week with this new points bonus. Plus, if I can get to 500 points (750 total), I can clear another $100 of my sign up bonus.

I decide I've gotta try for 100 points the first week, and then go from there. First step's been to up to .05/.10, and the 7.70 triple-ups, and I'm up to $320, but I just don't see how I can manage. 15 points a night seems to require about four hours at these stakes of two tables. One night is fun. Winning is even better. Thirty days, I may want to kill somebody... Plus, of course, I might go on a nice down swing at the higher stakes.

I'm not a great multi-tabler (usually stick to two), but I feel like I should rationalize worse play at more tables if it means a certain $200 more bonus dollars. Wish I knew the better route...

I don't know. I don't know if this is hijacking a thread or not, but just thought I'd throw out my mind-set while bonus whoring...

I usually play 3-4 tables at a time (10NL). It will take me about 8 hours to clear the 100 points. It would take 16 hours to clear 200. I doubt that would be possible. Their last promotion required daily play to a certain amount of points (25). At least this one lets me decide how to spread out my play. My GF almost left me over the last one because I was playing every night for a couple hours.

I would suggest trying for the 100 points, but being satisfied with the $10 consolation if you fall short.

Thanks for pointing that out; it never occurred to me to worry about it. Terms and Conditions don't seem to exclude both. Wonder if I should bug support...

One thing you did help me realize: the Bovada start up bonus is paid in levels, but they make up the difference in between levels after the 60 day expiration. I didn't know that. So, even if I can't get to 750, they'll still pay a $1 for every 5 points.

OK, OK, you talked me into it. :aetsch: I had tried this a while ago (the 24 hours trial) and thought about buying it. I never got around to it. Went ahead and purchased it today.
