I just emailed them about adding some damn freerolls more than the tight asses do now. I told them the freerolls generate server traffic and people want to play them. Maybe if enough of us tell them to get with the stick they would open up more games. Also more frequent low buy in NL and Limit MTT would be nice.

And I also mentioned being about to actually play out tables where the top 5 for example win the same prize. Let the damn game finish out so we can get big stack final table short handed experience regardless of the format of the tourney. If a player is happy to have won a ticket etc they are free to leave the table but let the rest of us play on!

Ughhhh I wish I had more options than Bovada. I like it well enough it just lacks in so many ways you would think they could fix easily.

IMO freerolls generate traffic to the server and builds players up that will play other games. Without them you are just not getting the numbers you could be.

Is there any other way to play poker in the US that isn't messed up in some form or fashion? IE Huge withdrawal minimums or some fees or some ridiculous cash out time to be paid?

They are smart for having things set up the way they do. They don't lose money everyday with these games and therefore cut down on the donk traffic at the site where they win a few bucks and get in the pay games and play bingo with the free money they have won.The private freerolls and the seasonal freerolls they have are a gracious plenty and its keeps them on top as far as making sure they don't over extend theirselves trying to attract a bunch of non depositing players. They pay their customers in a very timely fashion here and I hope they stay they way they are.

That sounds like a start. I don't see these listed yet and can't find anything on them can you link me to more info?

Also the other reply I would agree their model seems good and not trying to do to much is usually a good thing, but c`mon man you got to have some more freerolls. I am a deposit player and I still like to freeroll when I can. Every one doesn't have to cost them a fortune in prizes or money. Just my opinion of what might help draw more traffic and players. They could put conditions on freeroll to keep the never deposit types from playing in them lol.

Free roll

Do you have to play a certain amount of buy in tourneys to get invited to free roll tourneys?

I agree and I am gonna email them also, unlike some of you I don't have the ability to add funds and count on some freerolls to help me start a freeroll bankroll. I like lock and hope to get a win soon.

one of these day I may reinstall Bovada, if they add some games that interest me. I have my money in more enjoyable places currently. I wouldnt deposit there but would play freeroll winnings into something more if possible.

Lol I love seeing losing players complain about sites not having freerolls. If you cant win enough money playing cc freerolls every so often then you are probably not going to consistently beat real money games. Bovada has great promotions but in order to take advantage of them you need to deposit or take advantage of the great private freerolls that cardschat offers and build a roll.

While this may be true.. I think in general having freerolls is a good idea regardless.

I have been on Bovada for years and when it was bodog... the 100k NEVER met the guarantee.

There was always a 25-30k layover and they even mentioned it on their own site. Bragging about how good the value was.

Although last week was the series they ran with the 300k, the 100k had over 191k, which shows how much the site has grown in traffic.

I would like to see the 100k either be a little cheaper say 120$ or make it a 150k.

Also I wish they had a 40-50k daily for 20-30$ rather than the 20k. More lucrative tournaments is def needed IMO.

doubt they'll add regular type freerolls. the ones they offer luckydraw weekly ect. and few private freerolls run there daily/weekly. they want people to make deposit and play , just make deposit, only $20..total 20.98..23 or so after international charge fee.

I have been a freeroll junkie myself these days, however the trend that seems to be taking place is moving away from general site freerolls. Carbon got away from them, FTP drastically made changes and removed all of the freerolls they were running (I honestly find the traffic on FTP has probably improved some recently).

It sucks that such an opportunity is gone away but all know that thanks to our beloved cc we have opportunities to build free BR's on Pstars, FTP, Carbon, Bodog/Bovada, and BCP. Obv the sites removing freerolls of their own is great opportunity for online forums such as cardschat to grow from increased traffic seeking freerolls (and hopefully many stay and become active in the community once they realize those benefits).

Just my 2c on freerolls, like i said I am :( that they go away but obv for the cost it was bringing little added value to the pokersites or they would have kept them (I do think all sites should have such as pstars and was once on ftp with the round1 qualifiers and then the round2 taking place on the weekend. Difficult to cash, I have continually gotton sucked out on in the NL Holdem round2 at ps and just no rush to sustain blinds in the limit round2s. FTP's round2 now sucks big donky dong lol)

I like Bovada how it is, I think the buy in are not too high, they have great promotions every month, CC has great $200 weekly freeroll with them. ( which I don't get to play no more because of work), you can sport bet, they have Zone poker, customer service is quick and great, and best thing of all is withdrawal is the quickest for US players.

The rakeback at bovada is pretty bad but I will say: the biweekly freeroll isn't THAT bad. I remember when it was 7.5k rather than 5k and I always made an effort to play it. I know I've gone out in the 30-40 range a couple of times and the payout was like 77$. At that point it was a nice BR boost. Also look out for private freerolls like RTR on their
