I just got off the phone with Bovada because I was helping a friend set up his old account before they banned new NY players. The man on the phone said they no longer accept DEPOSITS for ANY NY players!!??

Wtf??

He said this happened last week.

So if you got $ on there you are fine ... If not no more Bovada.

Wow.

I am from NJ and when I try and deposit, it says this
"Deposits are not available at the moment. Please contact our Customer Service at
1-866-950-3500"
Can anyone confirm this that they no longer accept NY/NJ players for deposits????

Bovada has not accepted new players from New York in almost 2 years and NJ players were just stopped last week.

Yes, but they allowed existing customers (such as myself) to continue to deposit via WU or Money Gram, but now they are NOT accepting deposits at all!

The cashier also states "Deposits are not available at the moment. Please contact our Customer Service at
1-866-950-3500"

Again, I called Customer Service and at the moment, NJ AND NY can not make deposits anymore.

For all NY and NJ players who bust their rolls, they are no longer to make deposits. Its terrible.

Luckily I have a decent amount on there now, so I hope I dont burn through it!

Does this include 5$ 100k seats added from CC?

Crazy if true. I remember months ago I posted that rumors were Bovada was on its way out :/ and I hope that isn't the case but things arent looking good!

Yup that includes the thursday night buyin as well. Per posts from Deb in various bovada threads (signup, freeroll etc) it looks like they are just trying to somewhat lay low and hopefully it will all resume again in a few months. Only time will tell for sure.

Damn...

I deposited 1 week before they closed NY for good... made a nice run, but sucks knowing I need to leave $ on no matter what or I am done.

When I called the rep said they are unsure of how they will accept deposits now for NY, which to me means they are done. Because western union and moneygram clearly are the safest and off radar deposits, no sure where else they could turn.
