I don't know if they have changed it, but the software never used to allow a transfer of hand histories. The only way to do it was by using "print screens" and patching them together.

If you're logged in, click 'account,' then 'hand history,' then 'game transactions.'

You can then download your hand histories by session, or as I do, you can 'download all.' There is a box that asks how far back to go, but it's been my experience (as brief as it is) that after a week, downloading is no longer available.

So, this means you must remember at least every 7 days to download, and I don't think it can be done automatically.

From that point, it's my understanding that there are several hand history converter tools available that work with Bovada, but I know nothing about those, other than what is easily searched for and found here.

I'm using a relatively new, relatively limited site called pokeit.co to convert hand histories and see some basic stats. It ain't PT or HEM, from what I gather, but it's free. I like free.

Hope this helps.

I am not sure either. Going into account and looking at games over 24 hours old it does have option to download but nothing happens except it changes to download requested.

Once you see 'download requested,' the histories can be seen within a few hours. 'Download requested' changes to 'Open hand history file.'

The format is a text file, or seemingly so, from what I recall. One of the converter tools helps. A lot.

Have faith, man. I ain't makin' this stuff up...

You are correct! I was unaware this would take a few hours and haven't went back to check it before. Thanks!

...Serious bump up.

Does anybody know how to change the location on the computer where Bovada saves the hand histories to?

Also, does anybody know how to take Bovada's ZonePoker hand history text and somehow be able to transfer it to look like a regular cash game hand history text?

I use Bovada HH converter by Ace Poker Solutions. It changes the Bovada hands into pokerstars format, and this lets you import your hands into your tracking software. Then you can post them, view your stats and all that stuff.
