I also saw some players like you did but nevertheless you have to consider "not so smart" human players as well. Once played Sit & Go´s (10$) and one players went all-in all the time as well. Sometimes you have luck to meet those players. Use your chance and increase your bankroll.

Best of luck for your games!

The fact that you do not understand the game of your opponent does not mean that he is a bot.

Why did you decide that this player is a bot? The man plays badly. He simply decided to increase the stack at the expense of the allins, if it turns out a, then play normally. There are all kinds of players.

Hi, in PS players of this type are unfortunately, but I do not believe that it is a BOT. I just think that it is a player that because of fatigue or because he is not interested in the tournament he plays like that.

Don't lie and say that being tilted you have never done something similar. He could have busted all the other tournaments and maybe this one was his last one for that day, so he might just wanted to leave..

Whatever the reason was for this player to act like he did, you obviously don't know how bots look like. I mean what is even a point of creating a bot network if that's how they gonna be playing - pushing every hand with trash??

We call these people DONKS... Not Bots lol... Some of what was said above is probably true. The maybe he had a bad beat and was upset (Tilted) and was just shoving because his stack was so low. Just sit back and watch and laugh about it. It's always a matter of time for the donks and those who play like that. Hope to get a good hand to call with so you can get some of his chips before he goes out.

One day I was playing a tournament where I was for about 10 couples were almost alone, jj +, and A10 +, those who have played with me at the table just surprised it. I lost those who twice came to AA, AA and I came twice in a row. This is poker, and the level of play decides not all the problems in it. Luck is also important in poker.

Once pokerstars spots the bots and removes them from the site(bans them) you get a refund of however much you lost due to that specific thing happening, ive had almost 200$ refund from pokerstars with an email that i played in a game where bots were and this was my share of what i lost or shouldve lost to them something like that,, also dont think any big sites nowadays have that many bots.

I think we've all had our fair share of suckouts like that. He was probably a new/clueless player, shoving at chance. You can see a lot of them in freerolls and ultra-low buy-ins. Also you will find them in low-stakes cash games. Developing a bot isn't something easy to do. The coding of such a "software" is challenging, and even if you manage to somehow get it right, you would have to integrate it with the poker software, and PS encrypts theirs at a pretty high level.
However, if there still are any bots out there, they most likely belong to PS rather than some anonymous player.

Yeah creating AI/bot to shove every hand, doesn't seem to profitable imo, and what you describe is someone on tilt, or doesn't want to play anymore. Bot's 100% do exist in every poker room though. Less so on stars, as they keep up with security and software to help detect botting. BUT, you should be more concerned with collusion from human players than anything to do with bots. Collusion is rampant in sit n go's and satties on many sites.

The bot will never behave this way. He is programmed to play on a good map.

I've also seen something similar on the tables, it looks like a lot of robot action, but pokerstars rejoice that their system is safe and always being audited.
In the ocosion is very suspicious such actions in games, but there is a possibility is if it is a player who is a long time player and is already going through the state of Tilt.

I think he's just lucky player, coz bots are prohibited on any poker rooms. Poker rooms ban player if they see any additional programs. Of course they show you warning first, and than ban.
Generally. There is a very small chances, that it was a bot.
Have a good game, hope you won't meet this lucker again:)

I do not know what to believe, it happens that against one player there is not a single combination of cards that would win it, many times faced with such .

Yeah bots are made to make some money, the dude you are talking about was probably just drunk, on tilt or completely novice who don't know how to play this game.

Hi,

I join the overall opinion of this kind of player not being a bot. This donks can be encountered anywhere not only in PS. Here basic strategy is to play tight and use your chance when you spot it. While you have weaker hands, just fold and let this guys fly highly before they drop down to earth.

Speaking of something different:

What do you think about people who play on the same table but with 2 or 3 different accounts? I encountered something strange yesterday, idk if it was legitimate "friends" who like to play together, but in a low stakes cash game I was playing against two Dutch guys, one called BigBurk the other mburkie..

Funny enough, they were raising a lot in order to weed out all other players, when they were the only ones left in a hand, the checked back and forth incredibly fast. Seems suspicious to me..

What can be done in such a case?

I am against any kind of cheating. Play with real players and win the best or the luckiest.
