I got a cold call about a week ago from someone in Puerto Rico offering me 4 freerolls at BookMaker Poker. I am pretty sure my name and number were passed along from SportsBook Poker who gave me $10 to play there. SportsBook looks just like Cake for those who have joined Cake.

Not sure what BookMaker looks like cause it is by far the most confusing online gaming site I have ever been to. However, being the FRW I claim I am, I will persevere and try at least the first of those 'special' freerolls.

Perhaps it is just getting used to a new site. NAHHHH, this one is really confusing.

Anyone familiar with the place?

i usually try to stay away from small, just starting poker sites like this. I had a bad experience at Tropical poker where I won a bunch of money freerolling and playing .02/.05c tables and they never let me cash out.

Well, I'll give my review after using the first of my 4 special newbie freeroll 'whatevers'. Nowhere can I find how many of my 4 'whatevers' (tokens?) I have left. There is no schedule for these upcoming sng's. One must be hanging around when they register.

The site is confusing. Finding the right sng almost requires talking with the host.

The sng's fill slowly, this is not a large site.

The table is interesting. It is oblong and I sat at one of the ends. I could find no option for seat choice. Everything was voiced over and it gave me a German accent. Where other sites put up the normal play comments in the chat box, this site speaks it in stereo. Players are more animated with one even swatting flies away. Or picking his nose real fast.

Only 4 of the ten players ever said anything. I had the distinct feeling there were bots there. It took a while to get used to the voiceovers, they can be turned off, but I chose not to for my first time.

I can't be sure but does 6 full houses during a 10 seat sng seem a wee bit high, especially considering there were no flushes, and no straights made?

Could be variance of course. I will play each of my next 3 on different days.

Chat has balloon speak as well as chat boxes. Several of the common repies, like lol, nh, nice, get voiced as a chuckle, 'nice hand', and 'nice hand'. I say that twice cause one of the things I typed was 'nice to know your not a bot' when the 4th player told me he was not a bot. Voice interpreted that as 'nice hand'.

I won $50 there in a freeroll a little over a month ago from another forum that shall go unmentioned here, and I managed to run that up to over $400 during the couple of months or so by doing what this degenerate truly loves to do: Bet on sports.

Shall be interesting when I try to cashout some funds via check, however. The poker software and game availability, sadly, is sorely lacking.
