BOl and SBP have reduced freeroll games

BetOnline and SportsBetting poker are part of the same network and did offer a strong menu of freerolls. 5Dimes Grand poker has been down more than 3 weeks and was weak even before that. Who knows what their futures hold.

BOL and SBP have reduced their menu of freerolls starting today. They have eliminated the $200 Euro Nooner at 6:05 am and the Midnite $100 freerolls. Honestly, I expect further reductions in the near future. Still a very good lineup compared to all others for USA.

They have added double-up SnG's but have found a deceptive way of charging nearly 12% in fees rather than the industry standard of 10%.

Poker players, as a group, are very good at math. We do not ignore things like over charging for events. It will not make them more popular, just the opposite.

I like having more than one site to play, but I hate like hell poor customer service, questionable quality of the game clients and shifty shady operators/customer service. I don't know about you, but I hate being treated like I am stupid and don't matter.

Right now, ignition poker is my primary site. They are NOT perfect, but they are, IMO, closer than the others. ACR would be my next choice but they have regular software glitches and it has cost me chips on a couple of occasions. Naturally, God, satan and bad weather are the ones who get blamed for the thefts. Big trust issues there for me. If you are going to f__k me at least kiss me first. Don't just rape me and tell me it is my fault.

I did notice that the European Nooner for $200 disappeared. Very disappointing.

This is sad news.
Day tournament for $ 100 was convenient in time.

Looks like they also chanced a lot of other things, looks like the lowest SnG they offer now is $1.50 instead of all the under $1 they use to have too

Yea I noticed this last night.

Won a $10 FR so I wanted to grind out the 11¢ SnGs but to my dismay the lowest buy in was $1.50, wtf

I also saw the lower entry fee freerolls are gone. I dont mind paying a little higher fee, as long as the games fill quickly. We will see how it goes.

Seems like now atleast the whole month of december will have NO FREEROLLS OFFERED. This is becaise of the 25 days of Poker promotion, For example, Night 1 to qualify, you need to play 20 NLHE hands on DEC 1st to qualify and you will get your ticket at 8pm sharp for the $400 freeroll at 9pm.

Interesting strategy, in the fact they are clearly trying to get more people to deposit. Also, all those people playing 20 hands will surely cover the rake, or atleast close to it. could see this coming honestly. So if u have no money on BOL, you will have to depo or place in a future password protected tourney.. Like TheNUts.com or cardschat freerolls.

I should say confirmed after a live chat convo that NO HOURLY FREEROLLS on BOL for forseeable future.

You are right. BOL/SBP have PAID/EARNED freerolls now.

And our choices are password freerolls sponsored on their sites. Those will be my initial plays. We will have to wait and see what 2018 brings. Kind of just another gimmick to keep from giving anything back. All of the play to earn tickets will take care of the freerolls that are not freerolls. :hmmmm2:

That last $7500 paid freeroll on Xmas is hard but not impossible to get to. 1st. place supposedly is worth $2500. A good pay day even for the month. I expect the sponsored freerolls to get a little more crowded. Freeroll players are not going to line up to deposit. Nature of the beast is to play for free. :damnmate:

It is possible to win your way in with their money.

So do you have to be in the pot of 20 hands? If you are dealt cards but fold, does that count as one of the 20?

So to answer my own question, I am doing an experiment. I sat in on 47 hands, so if I already have a ticket when registration opens, then that is the answer. I counted 18 times I contributed to the pot, so I stopped so that I was close enough to finishing the goal but not quite there. 15 times I saw the flop, so that might be another threshold, but I doubt it. The pot was raked 5 times, I hope that is not the threshold for an entry ticket because that would be a little more time investment.

I will report back on the results when registration opens.

BTW: I was playing NLHE $0.01/0.02 table max 9 players. I won 9 hands (19%), and 5 of 5 showdowns. I bought in at $2 and left at $2.59. It took 48 minutes.

I have just noticed that Betonline freerolls are gone. They do not show up at all anymore. Just the cardschat and jackpotfreerolls. No more 300$ freeroll at noon, not even the 10$ freeroll's. I do not understand. Maybe im doing something wrong?

Looking forward to your findings. I just reread their instructions and it says play 20 hands. Guessing that means a tad more than dealt 20 hands. Not sure myself. Your experiment is exactly what I have planned as soon as I cash on BOL or SBP through a private freeroll.

Start with the CC $200 tonite on SB_P. I did notice their population of players was below 1000. Usually closer to 2000 by noon due to $300 nooner. Time will tell. Most freeroll players are just that. I fully expect to be in the $7500 game on Xmas.

Nomore Freeroll On Betonline!!

There is now no more 300 daily noon free-roll even the 10$ ones are gone. Is this a mistake

I'm hoping it's only during the 25 days of Christmas promo going on. I haven't heard anything but that is my best guess.

I think they will be back but not 100% sure.

Don't tell me... I was thinking it's because the beginning of the month and their
VIP Club calculations. Tomorrow hopefully...

i really hate this promotions basically because i hate to play at cash tables.

Ouch, picking on the little guys no fair. I do like the double ups, sucks that they charge more for them.

BetOnline is really messing up. Hopefully it's just for one month.

So I was able to register as is, the verdict is that you just have to sit in on 20 hands whether you fold or not. It did take an extra 10 minutes after they said I would get the ticket.:five:

We will have to see but hopefully they do come back!
