Looked like about $200k for the loser and $100k for the winner. Didn't see anything on whether anyone else at the table or others got a piece. The jackpot was quite high and I haven't seen it hit in months.

Oh yeah, it was a $1/$2 table $80 min - $200 max buyin

Nice... I still remember when absolute had these going where they were 500k+. Not a fan of pulling the jackpot money, but if you hit... wow.

I wonder if BOL is doing a hand replay of that jackpot hit.

It looks to me that the loser was the real winner :)

I was wondering this too... Seems like they could create a link to the hand or anything really for interested people!

This jackpot already goes up pretty quickly with them doing nothing but I'd think bringing more players to those tables by making the specifics available to all would make them more rake.

There are so many things BOL could do to improve things. Ie stop with the .05, .20 MTT's... maybe advertise... It's all about the sports book. It makes for juicy cash games on football Sundays tho lol. It's a shame, because I like their software the best.. (US player). Cheers!

I'm pretty sure they still had the pop-up ad when you log-in mentioning the previous BBJ winner for over 6 figures. I can't tell if my setup is behind or if they simply haven't at a minimum created a new ad for the new win. I'd imagine 80% or more of the members here could create the graphics for that ad, it was so basic.

To contrast to an even lighter-traffic site that didn't really provide a hand history replayer to give full details, but did a screenshot of the showdown and I think the payouts... that one was a ridiculous hit. The "loser" had A2cc with a board of 345ccXXxx so the winner obviously had 67cc. Seemed like it did nothing to draw traffic and now even fewer players are on there.

Would probably be good for BOL to do, though.

Sure, but they typically try to find loopholes to get more money back into the pool than paid out to non-factors. So, they'll say players not dealt in at the table are excluded, or players who didn't get to a flop are excluded. The latter of those two I think is bullshit and should be paid. The former, though, it makes sense if the player is sitting out or is waiting to join when the BB gets to them. But I've heard of other examples than just that of players not getting paid when they should have. I assume you probably know what you're talking about if you posted here. I just haven't seen anyone paid out on this yet.

Makes you think, can you imagine if an online site followed the same procedure as a bricks and mortar casino? There they pay something (not a ton) as a "room payout/bonus" to literally anyone playing at any other table at the time (other than excluded tables). If a half-way decently active online site did that they could have 1000s of players to pay out. Guess maybe they'd all get like 5c. BOL says there are over 3k players on the site ATM.
