Logged in b4 the 2:40 freeroll, all was well. Then it kicked me off, and twice tried to load their new software which crawled for 5 minutes. I was only doingwell in that $500 freeroll, but if I was in a paid event, I'd be furious. This is not new the past few months. First chance I get, I'm afraid I'm gonna have to cashout. This is just not acceptable by a mile. Anyone else having problems there?

P.S. The update got to 12% 1st time, never beyond 2% that. That would not disappear off the screen no matter what else you clicked. Then again, been having some very serious disconnect issued w/FT today. Maybe on this end.

dive i used to have the same problems with bodog, constantly freezing on me and giving me problems. i bought a new computer like 2 months ago and have been fine ever since. we both live in philly so maybe so i'm guessing your computer may be the problem, i always thought it was bodog before i updated.

Well, I was also having huge (and very rare) disconnect problem in out FT freeroll yesterday. I bought a new computer too a couple months ago, so it's not that (4G ram, 2.2 Duocore). I'd like to blame it on Comcast too, but usually a disconnect shows in the taskbar, and I have NO internet connection. Yestday, it was only FT, then only Bodog that kept crapping out. FT is running like a top today, so who knows. Bodog does this a lot though - one day fine, next day unplayable.

I have an account at bodog, but havent been playing there much lately, mainly due to the fact that I am concentrating on SnGs, and I have to wait there too long to get a seat sometimes. But after reading you post I went and played for about 1 1/2 hours, and had no issues at all. I had to DL and install an update, but no problem at all....

Hey Dive, I'm also in the Philly area and about 15 minutes after I posted in this thread I starting having disconnect issues...who is your ISP? Verizon by any chance? Everything seems fine today though.

Hey guys- I suggest giving bodog CS a call when something like this happens in the future- they will work with you to solve the problem. :)

Seams like it might be on your end. Every once in a while it will shut down on me but not that consistant.

Also the fact that it takes an eternity to update, makes me think its more on your end.

No, Comcast. So cable, a lot faster than Verizon, which is DSL. Like I said, some days great, but when it's bad, it's horrible.

I SERIOUSLY DOUBT IT'S MY END, BECAUSE WHEN IT HAPPENS, EVERYTHING ELSE IS RUNNING FINE. Ooops, sorry for the caplock. Like I said, it can be for a whole hour, then it runs like a top.

Thanks much Becky. I will do that next time. Maybe they can tell me if something is going on on your end. Always been very happy with how quickly I get someone (and helpful & competent) on the phone at Bodog. :D

I tried Bodog and had nothing but problems. Ub ran fine, FTP ran fine, Stars ran fine. Bodog would be very slow, I'd miss hands, etc. I just decided not to play/deposit there based on the software issues. You guys aren't alone I guess. They need to overhaul it I think. FWIW I run Windows 7. Bodog is the only client that doesn't work very well with this OS.

Needing to have a brand new computer to run simple poker program is ridiculous. It is not the computer, it is Bodog's crappy software. I run PS, FT, and PO on 2 computers that are 6-7 yrs old at the least with no trouble. Don't really have trouble with Bodog, it is just slower than slow.

*Dive verizon also has FiOS internet which is not DSL and is as fast or faster than cable.
