bodog an account I have that I rarely ever play on & only set up for some CC games, now looking to cashout some of it.
I just looked at my cashout options & only bankwire or courier cheque. Umm... don't have enough for the wire (3k min.) & see it's a $50 processing fee for the cheque by courier. Uggh! This seems a bit pricey.
What methods are others using? Question: if I wanted to go via 'Moneybookers', do I have to first make a deposit on Bodog via Moneybookers prior to making a withdrawl from there? If so, anyone knoww offhand how much is the min. deposit on there via Moneybookers? (& is there any fee). Thinking that this might be a cheaper route for me then paying the $50 fee for cheque by courier.
last alternative > bink the $100K & go for the bank wire, lol

How does Bodog do it?

I read in a thread a few months ago that Bodog is 'allowed?' to keep it's US frindliness as a site because it is completely owned by the Mohawk (?) indian tribe and that they have special or legal priviledges that do not pertain to other poker sites such as Doyles, FTP and PS's. I also remember seeing a quick explanation of sort from our cute Bodog rep. BodgBecky.

Is the a fuller explanation? I ask because I have been at Bodog and like it (regardless of other's feelings towards the site) a great deal as I also use there sport book sometimes (Bears won me a ton of money last year!!!)

Hi Becky. Can you contact me? It's regarding a bodog delayed payout issue.
I wish I could pm you but I am new here and the limits are in place before I can PM.

Thanks
Syed

First, Mohawks are a Nation within the Iroquois Confederacy, not a tribe... Yes Mohawk interests own the company but Calvin Ayre still owns the brand... Mohawk Gaming hosts dozens of sites at Kahnawake, which is Indian land in canada/Quebec... jurisdictionally is very hard for the DOJ to touch... not impossible though. Doyles and FTP are registered in US (big mistake); Stars is safely offshore and DOJ can not easily shut them like Tilt.

I think Bodog is as safe as any site can be these days...

OP, I use Moneybookers and works fine for me....

Hey PO,

I cashed out of Bodog about a week ago using courier check and recieved the check five days later. You get one free cashout per month, so the $50 fee does not apply.

Just make sure that the address where you send it to has someone living there permanently since an indirect signature is required.

Well, I'm semi-retired on disability so am home most of the time so this should be no problem.

Mine came via FedEx...they sent me a tracking number and everything so I would basically know when it arrived. I don't know what you guys have in Canada but it was a pleasantly painless process for me... and timely :)
