Bovada/bodog they did not keep a license in Europe, therefore I think they accept canada and Americans.

No!!! They will ask for proof of address and a photo of your ID, and even if you get away with that they will see your IP address is from the Poland EU.

lol, sketchy much.......maybe you can create an account on stars for the us friend so he can play there :p.......has nothing to do with account info, restrictions to sites are based on location as in IP address like kid mentioned so would be no different in me going to the US and therefore would no longer be able to play US restricted sites even though I have an account on many of them.

I'm starting to wonder if people think before they post/create threads and every day there is confirmation that they don't......not to sound mean/rude but they don't say your restricted but allow such simple loop holes lol.

ip != device, ip = internet protocol and is determined based on the provider and their assigning based on location etc.

Simple answer, no he could not play on bovada from accessing internet from outside us or canada, just like as I already mentioned if I went to the us I would not be able to play on pokerstars, or fulltilt or pp etc.

You have to have a US or CA residence and you will need to provide proof of that before you ever withdraw. And you could only play when in the US.

There is no way around it - if there were we would all still be playing at Pokerstars.

Did You heard about program like teamviewer? If You have a trustable friend in US or CA (with pc not mac :D)
You can play by this (controling his monitor and log in on yours account bovada/bodog with fabricated ID)
Dakota are You sure I have to have residence US or CA? because on registration is possible to choose PL
this is the biggest trouble... but like I said You can counterfeit Your ID and the most funny think You wont be pursued for this because You weren't in US or CA...
How about this?
and one more thing... they always check ID when someone try to cash out?
look how it work [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLU55TvbwDE]teamviever[/ame]
and print screen from my registration window:
ngeq7p.png

as You can see only diagonal number is unactive (but necessery) I bet because I am not in US or CA
but PL residence seems to be accepted

Yes I am aware of Teamviewer - use it alot.

I am certain that you can not have your own account at Bovada or Bodog - stop trying. Yes - they will make you confirm everything when you cash out.

most likely the check mark and the x simply indicate the fields are required and something has been filled in, actual validations as to if you can create the account would usually be on submit.....although in some cases based on what is filled in it will limit/restrict what can go in other boxes (usually java script doing this).

As dakota said its not possible, even in regards to the sketchy running it through teamviewer on a machine in the US.... poker sites also track IP addresses and they will notice that there is more than 1 account accessing through the same IP address and require additional validations (possibly even flagged just from using the accounts, not even waiting until cashouts) whereby you would have to prove that both you and your "friend" reside at that same address.

Also you do realize trying to be sketchy like this doesn't exactly look good for your character just IMO.

No you can't, IDs in the USA are not the same as ones from Poland.

You Must send a photo of your photo ID and or proof of US or CA mail that's a bill or a statement from a US / CA bank
And if Bovada is real picky they may ask for a Photo of you holding your ID.

Bovada in Europe

Hello All,

I have been playing on Bovada all over Europe. I am a U.S. citizen. Bovada recently restricted my access to their site. I called them and they stated that I can only play in the US. They stated not to use a VPN or fake IP address as they will be able to track it.

Has anyone experienced the same problem and solved the problem? If so, how did you solve the problem? I like the team viewer option but that's going to be tough for me as I don't have anyone who can let me do that. I also am fearful of the two IP addresses accessing the same computer.

Cashing out won't be a problem. I have someone in the states who has power of attorney who can cash checks for me.

I would like to play here in Europe and in Australia in a few months when I get there. I have tried the other sites but for some reason I like donating to Bovada the most.

Thanks in advance,
Pokertrotter
