Just wanted to make members aware of this since bodog doesn't do a great job sometimes of promoting some good offers.

Total blackjack donk here, have played maybe twice so I don't think I'd be coming out ahead lol.

Awesome! I still have $65 casino chips from when the cardschat tourneys awarded casino bonuses. Hopefully, I won't lose 13 hands in a row lol.

When say "our" as in whos freeroll? As in everyone/anyone who plays at bodog? What sort of amount of players would you expect here?

I'd be willing to deposit for this, sure should be able to breakeven at least with some basic BJ stratergy. I used to have a roulette/blackjack problem, not sure if it's wise, then again the freeroll is like quite unreal.

Sorry, copied/pasted promotion so our was meaning Bodog, so yeah, everyone who plays at Bodog who also plays the requisite BJ hands, but you MUST also enter yourself into the promotion prior to playing the BJ hands. It is a pretty tight time frame, only one week from now, so it will be interesting to see how many qualify for the freeroll. But sure cheap way to get into a chance to play the Main Event, especially if you know how to play BJ.

I missed the "$5,000 in cash" part. Guessing the freeroll will have typical payout structure of any tourney..... so the $5K part is enticing.
Played blackjack a gazillion times in my youth... might have to give this a go.

This is probably because you can't beat live blackjack without counting cards.

You are kidding right? I would encourage people to do it, by using well known basic strategy the house edge is generally less than 0.5%. As close to any breakeven game that a casino offers. Better chance than just about anything to end up the $17,000 freeroll being Free, or actually making a few dollars (or only losing a couple bucks). You post as if it is 21 spins on a slot machine.

Yah I'm wondering the same. Even if I lose a bit in BJ.... it'll just be what I'd consider my 'entry fee' for the tourney & I'm guessing that it'd still be +ev

I had some casino chips from a cardschat private tournament last year that awarded the top 3 bonus casino chips. I had $65 in casino because I had run that up luckboxing keno. Then I didn't play casino until last night.

I played 21 hands of blackjack doing $5 per hand and came out $45 ahead. Then I played a few more hands, less than 40 total, and stopped when I was up $20. Early on the dealer got blackjack 2 hands in a row and I was thinking fml rigged omg lolbad rofls, but went on a nice run. One hand the dealer had a lot of cards showing to make 20 - like 3 aces, 2 twos, 2 threes and a 7 lol.

Today, I get an email saying I won a ticket for the main event freeroll. Only 12 players registered Sunday! Yesterday there were 6. 1st place wins 12k package for main event and $5000 is spread amongst 2nd thru 21st places.

I saw this promo yesterday. I would definately do it since I love blackjack and obviousally poker. All I need now is a roll on Bodog and to not turn 21 2 weeks after the start of the main event. =(

Anyone know the deadline for this? (when do you need to have those played by?)
Also, with Bodog Casino - can you use the $'s from your bodog poker acc't. for the Casino games? (not sure if I've ever even played Bodog Casino games before, I know I've played Blackjack on a couple/few sites, just not sure if Bodog was one of them (might've been... I think I can recall gettin' a free $10 on Bodog Casino or something like that??). Do you have to transfer funds from one account to the other, is it one & the same or what?

It's not that difficult really. I'm sure you can find a ton of blackjack 'fun' games online (doesn't microsoft have a blackjack game?.. or something like a 'free pass' at Pogo).

Just click Casino at the top of CardsChat and play their BlackJack?

Unfortunately, I don't have the funds on Bodog to give this a try. I would have to basically win the first blackjack hand or I wouldn't have enough in the account to continue.

I tried multiple times to get to the bodog casino but their servers failed me.
Seems I wont be able to blow my bodog roll / bink that ticket.
