Black Chip Poker, bots and refund

Recently i got a refund from Black Chip Poker. They said, their team banned certain accounts which were under investigation for suspicious bots. The money they refunded is because i was affected by one or more bots. Many thanks to Black Chip Poker.


Actually, i was not even aware that i played with bots. The actions taken by BCP clearly indicates their firm commitment to provide players with an environment of fair play.

Bots are becoming threats to online poker industry. To detect them, poker sites must keep a constant eye on them. That means a regular operational job to track them down.

Yea. I guess "put your money where your mouth is" they are doing.

BCP is horrible. I transferred money from sportsbook to poker room and it didn't make it. it's 20 hours now.....they don't seem to give a shit.

Anyone else having this problem transferring money?

Have you brought up live chat to talk to them?

As far as bots are concerned... is this a problem of collusion or just an AI playing poker?

If there is a network of bots that all collude about their hands, then I can see that being an issue. But if it's just an AI playing poker, is that really an issue?

I would think if you're smart enough to build a program that is fast enough to try to solve GTO in real time, maybe you should get rewarded for your efforts?
Then again, there are ways to beat such a bot too, as their responses become predictable.

I do not think that playing against bots is a good idea! People create bots -moshenniki place where a prison rather than a reward!

Yeah but they've been useless. I wish the ACR rep worked for BCP also.

I got 1$ back of 16 I transferred, over 24 hours later. Hopefully
by the morning it will be taken care of.
