Hello everyone,

Are people less than 18 years of age allowed to play hold em with bit coins? I am in the US. I'm wondering if it's legal or even traceable. I checked a few of these rooms out and a lot of them don't list any age restrictions o_O

Do you guys think I'd be violating some kinda law by gambling underage with bitcoins? I don't think there's federal legislation about bit coins being currency yet.

I just gotta ask cuz I'm getting tired of waiting for 18 :( I've been waiting for 17 years!

Thanks,
Wiz

I don't know about the Poker Rooms that use Bitcoins but most 'normal' ones require proof of age when registering.

If they don't then, as you say, ownership of Bitcoins is difficult to trace so.........

Only thing I would say is that there are too many scammers in the Bitcoin arena so personally I steer clear of them.

I doubt any good ones would accept them, seeing as Bitcoins have technically no real value to them (to a casino).

Bitcoins are acepeted at numerous websites as payment... You can cash them in for USD, the last 2 years one bit count went from 30usd to 300usd.

Also, even though there's not much action, since OP asked where we play. I choose SWC but i hardly bother on the BC scene like some of you posted in here.

Hello,

I signed up for sealswithclubs. It looks like they have free rolls every hour so I've been playing there. The prize structure gives out .05 of a bitcoin which is worth about $26 in us cash.

They didn't ask me for my age, or any identity. Just my wallet address. Also says it's world wide so I guess US players are allowed. I've heard some good reviews about it so I'll definitely be playing there. Of course, I've heard some bad ones too but I don't have much of a choice till I'm 18.

do any poker rooms accept or payout in bitcoins?

Seals With Clubs

I have been playing there for a long time. My winnings when magnified by the rise of bitcoin are...

Well you wouldn't believe it if I posted it, and I have never been one to brag.

If you sign up please put "cAPSLOCK" as your refer-er. <3

I almost bought bitcoins to play on sealswithclubs when they were worth 12$ each, I was going to buy 10. Decided against. Would have been worth wayyyyyy more now.

Lol. They rose to 770 or something like that today.

I had 12 cents worth of bitcoins I made off the web and it became worth 17 cents :)

I am also using Sealswithclubs.com. Just trying to win a freeroll :(

Well it states on almost all the sites 18+ some say 21+ just take more time when reviewing the sites.
