This is a discussion on Big Little Tournament within the online poker forums, in the Poker Rooms section; Thinking of playing this... how would you guys go playing a tournament with 50,000 + players with such a low buy-in ($2 + $.20) ?

I'd like to see any suggestions/firsthand experience on this too. I got a ticket for this that I can't change into T$ by unregistering (I won it in an FTP sattelite and didn't realize I'd be stuck with the ticket), so I'm going to have to play it at some point.
I'm thinking it will basically go something like the public freerolls, in which there's going to be all sorts of crazy play all throughout, but particularly so in the beginning.

its a turbo tourney so you have to make a move while there are donks still in it. Just play tight early and you should be good.
Uggh, out right before the money KK<34c, flush chasing whore hit it on the river, called every bet on every street I made.
I shoulda shoved it pf.
Good luck to those still in.

Im out. Just so yall know, you can blind out of the BLT in under 2 hours, LOLZ. Played cash late into the night last night and didnt feel like getting up for a $2 donkument that I got in for free. Maybe next time. Good luck to those still in it.
Finished 4353rd for $4.79 . KK losing to AT crippled me then had to shove with JT.

eh, tourney started at like 4:00am for me here. decided my sleep was worth more than the hassle, so i am guessing i got blinded out around 10,000 or so. i probably should have unregistered last night when i realized i was dead tired.
good luck to anyone else still going, and congrats to those that cashed!

Managed to cash for the minimum. Happy with that I guess. Lot of people going all-in with crap just like a freeroll. At the start of the game I had 3 players sitting so I was able to get some chips early.
