So you have made some money playing poker online? Now it's time for the big gamble - seeing if you can get paid.

With all the horror stories about people getting the runaround, or just plain unable to collect their winnings, I thought it might be interesting to post opinions on collecting money at various sites.

From what I understand, poker stars and Full Tilt are fairly reputable when it comes to paying up. We could rate them AAA+

What other rooms can we count on to pay up in a timely fashion? And what ones should we avoid like the plague for the opposite reason?

ONly place ive played onlien is fulltilt, and they have paid in always a week or less, which is good. The only downside is you have to wait a few days to get your account verified for payment. other than that, its solid!.

I think that you should qualify the beginning of a thread like this with some important considerations for people that are going to read it and possibly make decisions about what sites they want to play on that are influenced by what they read:

1) Some people will have an axe to grind with certain sites b/c of things that are not the fault of the sites themselves (like "bad beats" that cost the player a ton of money or the player losing more than they could afford to b/c of poor bankroll management, playing drunk, etc.), so it should be taken into consideration that sour grapes can cause people to make up crap in an attempt to get back at the site.

2) Just the opposite, I have seen, on this and other forums, people that were blatant shills for particular sites, saying and doing things to try and direct traffic to those sites.

3) Some people are just plain stupid, to put it bluntly, and they can't follow specific detailed instructions about requirements for doing things like asking for a cashout from a poker site (or how to qualify for a CC freeroll, for that matter) without someone holding their hands and guiding them through what should be a simple transaction. Or, they cannot provide the required documents necessary for the transaction to verify their identity. To these people, that is the fault of the site, not of their limited intelligence, and so they will post about "delays" and "problems" that they have had getting their money. (I have seen these types of posts on CC as well as other forums, also.)

So, in summary, most things that people say in a thread like this should be scrutinized carefully to determine which are BS and which are valid complaints/kudos. Also, those with payout questions about particular sites could use the search function of CC to find previous posts that people have made about them. This is a pretty common topic.

other than stars or tilt. the only other rooms i have collected from are Carbon and bodog. both sites i had no problem getting my money. i think you can throw cake poker in the mix here as well. i have never had a payout from them, but they seem to be reputable. as far as AP and UB i am not sure.

I've gotten paid without any problems from

- Stars
- Full Tilt
- Bodog
- Ulitmate bet
- I-Poker (Titan, Paddy power and ladbrooks)
- Carbon Poker
- King solemns poker

Generally from my experiance, most sites that dont pay out are, Freeroll winnings that have been won without any proof of age (ie a deposit or sending of ID photos), a site to site transfer without any play, failure to send in any documents when requested, after a chip dump. etc etc.

Play nice and there usually is no problems.

This is a good post. I have only been playing mostly on FT and a little bit on PS. I am looking for some more sites to play on...need those freerolls to get a bankroll started.

Hey, I also have a question. Has anyone won money on two different sites? If yes, can you simply transfer money from one poker site to another or do they frown on this?

Recently, I have had no problems with Bodog. Move back about 6 months, and I had 3 bounced checks during a 4 month span. Each time, they gave me the fee that my bank charged me for bouncing a check. I did look like a goon however. Thankfully, nothing else was affected like my credit score.

The simplest way as I would see it would be to withdraw from one site, then just deposit the same amount to the other. In response to what you were trying to say, there's not really a way where you can just automatically transfer between two sites.
