I barely see anyone talk about betonline poker so ill give it some recognition for what it is:
The software is an abomination. It crashes 10 times per session (other players experience this too). Often when tournaments start it asks you to join the table but fails to bring up the window. When you try to manually bring up the table you get an error so you have to reboot the client. Also less commonly, when the action is on you there are no buttons to do anything so your timer goes down and it sits you out.
On the bright side, it is a great poker room for new players to practice. They host tables with hilariously low stakes, as well as some sit n go with no fees. They do tons of freerolls all day for cash prizes so thats a huge plus. Also betonline is swarming with terrible players so it can be quite amusing. If youve never seen players call you down to the river while hoping to hit an underpair, then join betonline it happens quite often. Unfortunately, there are very few players at the higher levels so betonline is not really a great place to rake in lots of cash.
Personally, I like betonline a lot because it provides great opportunities for new players to build up a little bankroll and practice a bit. I almost feel bad for bashing betonline because I play with money from freerolls and never deposited any money. Also I read that they allow withdrawal of freeroll cash of $100 or more without any deposit required.
