It's a bit misleading because you would think it was a satellite to enter the 50k GTD. However, it really just pays the top 50 players something called '20 Promo $'.

Promo $ are essentially pennies. But you can use these pennies to enter some fun Promo $ tournaments (5, 3, or 1 Promo $ tournaments) They are like freerolls but with a wayyyy smaller field. 1st place might pay 1,100 Promo $ which can get you into an $11 tournament.

Interesting. Honestly, I am still a little confused. Do you know of other ways to get Promo$? I seem to remember that I used to come across Promo$ GTD tournaments all the time, but I can't find any, now. And, do you have any idea what gold, rubies, pearls, etc. are?

I think this kind of promotion and interesting because you can try to start a bankroll.

@vwls, those Treasures that you have listed and the others that you didn't are distributed by BOL as leaderboard prizes from their sit n go's and mtt leaderboards. There are 3 stake categories for each leaderboard, and the type of treasure helps identify which stake. Certain values of each are tickets to some gtd mtt tournaments and some sit n goes. look under the Treasure column in the tournament listing to find the general ranking for each in case you are interested.

I like the whole idea and concept of them. It's basically money that you can't cash out.
