Any idea if rakeback will be offered from this new site? I am looking to deposit some money somewhere reliable, but since I already have accounts at the few sites that still allow US players, I am ineligible to get rakeback.

Does CC ever offer rakeback deals when signing up through their links?

Yeah, I am ready for a new site. I hope that this deal works for US players. If I could get my money off of Full Tilt I could deposit on this new one. Guess I will have to wait it out.

I'm needing a new good poker room, I hope that this can be the one. I'll wait to CC link, because sign up in a new poker room without a good promo just don't worth it.

I'll still sit on the sidelines for awhile until things shake out. Any site that takes rake will have the same problems as all the rest of the online sites. I'm not a fan of what RISE has done either. Their "premium membership" fees are insanely more than most sites take in rake for a month, and the software quality and advertising blitzes sucks so bad, I can't even stand to play freerolls on it.

Yes, they did with Lock Poker, before Merge stopped new RB accounts on June 1st. I'm still getting my 35% daily RB courtesy of my CC signup. If I could get my volume up to cover Black VIP, though, I'd give up RB to switch since it amounts to a much higher rebate percentage.

what network ???
None, they're independent. They've run a sportsbook operation out of Costa Rica for over a decade, and decided to take advantage of the US site vacuum by adding a poker room.

Combine a total lack of googlability, and CC exclusives (Ivy - Negranaeu in space?) and I will adopt my standard wait and see stance.......

While not what we want, there isn't a vacuum of poker sites, there is a vacuum of deposit and withdrawal options.

Well, with the departure of the 3 largest sites catering to US players, and Cake and Merge not accepting new US signups for the moment, I think the vacuum of sites is indeed pretty large. ;)

As to deposit/withdrawal options, true that it's generally more difficult than it used to be, but it really depends on where you play.

Merge has been reportedly having cashout delays of 4-6 weeks, but some of the skins have been providing workarounds. On Lock, for instance, you can deposit/withdraw on the casino side since Merge doesn't control that cashier like on the poker side. Many CC's are reported to work for deposits, and you can request a check by courier (FedEx/UPS, one free per month) with about a 2 week turnaround time. So far, no reports of checks bouncing. Transferring funds between casino and poker is effortless. I'm about to withdraw another grand or so, so will get to see first hand how well it works. Reports of this approach on 2p2 have been favorable so far, and Lock is shaping up to be one of the most popular Merge skins now if you follow the scuttlebutt over there.

Any idea how big of a push they are making traffic-wise? Since they are independent, any idea if there will be any action for the first while after it opens?

Edit: Okay, it looks from the site like it has obviously opened. Will wait for CC's link to download the client, but hopefully soon! The curiosity is killing me.

Good news to see some more poker clients opening. I doubt I'll play there straight away as I've got bonuses to clear elsewhere.

I think this will be a good site for european players like myself to play as, it'll be mostly traffic from the America's and it'll be good for those of us wanting late night(EU) action :p

LOL. BetOnline is part of the Action Poker Network (PayNoRake/Tiger Gaming, etc) -- which is the WORST network in the industry. Google them and you'll hear nothing but bad reviews.

I've Googled several articles about BetOnline that clearly state they are independent of any other network. In fact one article states they launched their own network.
