betonline freerolls saying i lost before i even played

so I signed up for the betonline $100 freeroll about ten minutes before it started I walked to the store for a cigar.i got home at 8.35,15 minutes after it started and it's saying ive already lost..haven't played a single hand..kinda bothers me..

Not sure there is any way for that to happen unless the entire table was inactive except 1 or 2 people who just turbo ate the blinds from all the inactive folks. I have seen it happen a time or 2.

The only reason that would happen is if you were late for the game and was inactive for 10 minutes or more.

so.....looks like nomore walks to the store before a tourney..they also said this has been in effect since their update in july or something..guess I should pay better attention to updates.

I'm glad to know that.. I mainly play on betonline.. I too start late sometimes..

Wow if they are flat kicking folks who are inactive for 10 minutes or more at a time its going to be tough for us family folks with kids to endure long tournys. Putting my daughter or wife to bed, reading to the daughter, or cooking them dinner comes first in my house and I have never had trouble being inactive 20 minutes or more with a big stack.

No they only do that at the beginning. If you wait till it starts and play even a single hand, you can walk to the store and come back without the boot.
