... just dropped within the last few days, and it is just as you would expect: mostly favorable to the house. I've played a dozen now, and with the exception of one $3 buy-in (that payed 5x), they've all only paid 2x the buy-in. Fortunately, I took that one down.

My results:

$3 Windfall - 10 played, 5 wins, +$9
$7 Windfall - 2 played, 1 win, even

Win: 50%
Net: +$9.00
ROI: 20.45%

Yeah I get what you mean, they definitely are mostly the 2x buy-in and a few 5x. But I really like them, the gameplay actually seems really soft to me (at least in the $3 buy in one) and they play really fast which makes them kinda fun and great short handed practice too. I started playing them yesterday with the $6 I won in a CC freeroll last week and I cashed in 4 of my 6 (1 for fifteen). Hopefully that trend stays the same lol

The 2 $3 games I played the house took 33%. Pretty much a rip-off.

The windfall SNG's seem like another reach for BOL to increase profits quickly in continuation of the new tournament structure on the site. I love BOL and hope it's not going anywhere but i'm getting worried with these frequent changes and new tourney structures that the site is hurting. anyone have any input?

this type of games are good, but personally i think $3 min entry is high for me.

yea I have issue with the windfall when im not getting good starting hands.

Yea for $3 buy in the house takes $3, kinda crazy but for a small buy in to double your money or even 5x your money back is not that bad IMO.
