Bet-on-line and Sports betting sites

Hey guys and gals,

Can any computer whiz kids answer this question for me????


it seems that in the last week or so of December after one of their updates both BOL and sportsbetting sites. (this is happening on both sites) Whenever I am logged onto either site, and NO I never log onto both sites at the same time. In fact, I play on BOL 99% of the time. I just opened an account on sportsbetting to play the Cardschat tourneys. Whenever I am logged on my CPU runs up to around 40% for almost the entire time.


This does not happen on ACR, on ignition or intertops- this only happens with BOL and SportB- I am worried about my computer being used for other purposes. Do any computer guys understand what I mean? Is this something to worry about??

I do not have an answer for you, but how do you measure your CPU? Not trying to be a smartass. I really want to know so i can check for myself.

if you run windows , right click on task bar, then click on task manager, this opens a window that displays computer resources.

Hi. When you look at task manager what processes does it show as using a high percentage of your CPU? I have updated both sites and am not seeing the same issue.

Thanks for reply, it is the game client that seems to be using much more CPU, as an example with DriveHUD using about 5 %, ACR is open now using less than 2% google chrome is a hog at 8%, if I open BOL it draws 20%, intertops only 2% ??


I am not sure I have not re-booted in a bit. I guess I will try that and record everything for a day. See if I can figure it out. At least I know it is not doing it to your PC, that is good.

I just checked and on my computer (running Windows 10) and BOL is only taking a few percent of CPU usage. Good luck!
