Chip, of all posts on here (even though I'm not a US player) I would 100% go with whatever WEC suggests. < he's the guy who will know
As far as 'Feltstars' goes > I've read a gazillion bad things about that site. Not sure how they are now but they've had some seriously terrible support & problems in the past (ie. not being able to cashout for eons.. as in excess of 6mos. due to no cashout options available in Cashier. Might be different now but just sayin'... doubt that track record fits your criteria).
darkassxxxin, read Chip's OP > he's looking for a site he'd feel comfortable depositing a nice amount. Cool that you're finding some freerolls on Feltstars, but not sure if this was on OP's criteria list.
Chip. I know merge sites had some deposit bonus where for first 2wks. you'd be eligible to play their '$500 Depositor Freerolls' & I believe they had only ~65-85 entrants (depending upon day of week) with Top20 getting paid (payout was mostly in Tourney Tickets, but some cash in there too). I'm not sure if these are still running? But if they are, it might be worth taking advantage of it (ie. my stepdaughter who is fairly new to poker & very new to online cashed in about half of the ones she played in = 'ez money' for padding a new bankroll).
Someone mentioned to me that they just stopped running these. But I don't have a clue? (I'm lucky to be able to play on a bunch of other sites being a non-US player, but even though I'm not restricted to where I can play, I do have money on two merge network sites > Carbon (< have been on there for 4+ yrs. now) & BlackChipPoker (< joined up to play in the Cardschat games). Also had Lock when it was with merge but never really play on there (I've got a few other Revolution/Cake network accounts, ie. Cake,
intertops, & Colt).
juicy stakes (the 'new Cake' for US players) might be an option too. I know that Cardschat is throwing a couple of freerolls on there..... maybe something to consider? (I'm not sure if one needs to be a member of the CC Freeroll Club to play in them 'or' if signing up to Juicy via a Cardschat link is an option for quick admission??). No doubt I'll be signing up to Juicy now too (lol.. can't help myself). But it's also very easy for me to move money around from site to site online & obviously not the same for US players & is obviously crucial factor when choosing where to play.
good luck to you sir! On whatever site(s) you choose to go with!
