Which Poker Room is the best? As far as software not freezing up on you, no deposit or withdrawal problems. Good amount of player traffic and Most importantly the most trusted? thats what i want to know so i can deposit a nice amount and feel comfortable about my money being there. Reply to my post, you also may message me.:ridinghor

Any Vegas pokerroom. That's the only place I can think of that matches the criteria you've listed.

Aria, Venetian, Caesars, and MGM all have great games. ;)

Aside from live (which has already been suggested:p ), one of the larger Merge skins is probably the best bet for online. Carbon, Black Chip Poker, Hero, or one of the others. There is also Bovada which is probably the most stable, has the least payout issues, but has only anonymous play.

Right now is a difficult time for US players. The sites available are still contracting until there is very little choice left. Even those that do still accept US players could change this policy at any time. It's probably safest not to leave any significant amount of money tied-up in any one site until/unless the whole situation gets resolved.

Carbon hands down. Any merge site for that matter with decent attendance.

Chip if you are looking for a US-facing site that most closely fits all your needs you need to be looking at true poker. Their cashouts speeds to US players are documented to be the best month to month, traffic is high, and customer service is excellenet. With merge skins you are dealing with a network whose payments are constantly in flux.

Yeah, True or Americas Cardroom, same thing. I like it, but it does have some irritating software flaws though. Otherwise, some good MTTs, good cash action, and decent promos.

Carbon don't even take visa right now, so its not the best until it comes back. I really don't know if it pertains to all the other merge sites too

I was on this same hunt a couple months ago when
Bovada banned NY deposits. I won a freeroll on Betonline so that's where I play. Tons of bots, but if you can get past that, lots of bonuses and freerolls to build a bankroll. Worth a look. Things aren't what they used to be :(

If you have to play BetOnline you might as well just give up poker. So many complaints over so many forums it boggles the mind people still will play there. I wish you the best.

As an American player, I have tried others... but Juicy Steaks is the only one I can actually play on for cash.

Felt stars online is a great place to free roll. I got 90$ built up on their just from free rolling. They have the merge skin so nice traffic. Also, step games to win free money also. I like them bc they have a Sunday 200$ free fro game going on every hour. 1st place gets a ticket and its super soft and easy to win. Gl

Chip, of all posts on here (even though I'm not a US player) I would 100% go with whatever WEC suggests. < he's the guy who will know

As far as 'Feltstars' goes > I've read a gazillion bad things about that site. Not sure how they are now but they've had some seriously terrible support & problems in the past (ie. not being able to cashout for eons.. as in excess of 6mos. due to no cashout options available in Cashier. Might be different now but just sayin'... doubt that track record fits your criteria).
darkassxxxin, read Chip's OP > he's looking for a site he'd feel comfortable depositing a nice amount. Cool that you're finding some freerolls on Feltstars, but not sure if this was on OP's criteria list.

Chip. I know merge sites had some deposit bonus where for first 2wks. you'd be eligible to play their '$500 Depositor Freerolls' & I believe they had only ~65-85 entrants (depending upon day of week) with Top20 getting paid (payout was mostly in Tourney Tickets, but some cash in there too). I'm not sure if these are still running? But if they are, it might be worth taking advantage of it (ie. my stepdaughter who is fairly new to poker & very new to online cashed in about half of the ones she played in = 'ez money' for padding a new bankroll).
Someone mentioned to me that they just stopped running these. But I don't have a clue? (I'm lucky to be able to play on a bunch of other sites being a non-US player, but even though I'm not restricted to where I can play, I do have money on two merge network sites > Carbon (< have been on there for 4+ yrs. now) & BlackChipPoker (< joined up to play in the Cardschat games). Also had Lock when it was with merge but never really play on there (I've got a few other Revolution/Cake network accounts, ie. Cake, intertops, & Colt).

juicy stakes (the 'new Cake' for US players) might be an option too. I know that Cardschat is throwing a couple of freerolls on there..... maybe something to consider? (I'm not sure if one needs to be a member of the CC Freeroll Club to play in them 'or' if signing up to Juicy via a Cardschat link is an option for quick admission??). No doubt I'll be signing up to Juicy now too (lol.. can't help myself). But it's also very easy for me to move money around from site to site online & obviously not the same for US players & is obviously crucial factor when choosing where to play.

good luck to you sir! On whatever site(s) you choose to go with!

Nice of you to say Poker Orifice, I try to keep a tight watch on the online poker community, especially for the US

Gl

FeltStars...uh oh.

Seems as though the Merge skin of choice these days is Carbon (or Aced, PDC since all owned by same group). FeltStars and BCP seem to have been making tons of 'illegal' backdoor Rakeback deals and Merge is starting to hit back, among other things apparently.

Just a shame what the US Govt has done to online poker players when so many other things were going wrong with this country. The leaders have moved me from a life-long enduring patriot, to wondering what country would be the best place to live these days, as freedom in the US is going down the drain.

The latest, putting that poor man in jail who just put together payment processing deals for PokerStars and others so Americans could play online poker, while letting the real crooks roam around free (FTP insiders, Russ Hamilton, UB-AP- Cereus crooks, poker sites that run off with players money)

@WEC TRUE! Govt needs to regulate online poker in a correct way in which we all can win from it!(they can make money too) instead they're trying to take it away. yes they're real problems that need to be adressed instead they worry about some other people making money and mad about that.

pokerstars...opps sorry...
Am I the only one who is pissed by a post like this ^

Come on.. "opps sorry" (I'm assuming that's 'Oops' he meant?).
WTF is that? imo that's an out & out throw it in your faces US players & I think it's totally unecessary & actually feel it's completely f'n rude & ridiculous.
Shit like that shouldn't be on here imo.
