Every morning i wake up super excited to play poker. Usually watch a sweat online then play a few hundred hands. My morning sessions always seem to be break-even ev and + or - depending on a flip here and there. Every afternoon I play a few hundred more hands and "KILL IT!" Like 40bb/100(small sample tho). I'm not playing any differently(probably worse) but the competition is sooooooo much softer. In the morning there isn't any limping and we pass the blinds around. In the afternoon people will call a shove on the turn with two over cards. Or go all in pre with QJo. The traffic is pretty much low all the time on cake but the tables that are full are awesome at certain times and tough at others.

So finally I've decided to concentrate on playing the afternoon sessions. Or maybe grind the regs for a bit in the morning but get some real volume in during the afternoon.

What are the juciest times to play on different sites? It looks like early afternoon pacific time is best for cake poker. Early afternoon games even seem softer than peak hours later in the evening? Are peak hours normally when you'd recommend playing?

Every site that is available to the US will be the juiciest on Friday and Saturday nights, followed by weekend days, then followed by weeknights. In the morning during the week is probably the worst time to play.

The best time to play is literally when you are on a good run..but it will end and when it does you cant stop playing, you have to keep playing through it, so all the time is the best time.

If you mean for the big cash, then sat and sundays are best.

What time zone do you live in? Helps to understand what you consider mornings, and afternoons.

Out here on the west coast (PST/PDT) it is noticeable how many fewer players are playing late evening which is midnight EST/EDT.

The tournaments with the biggest prize pools are obviously on the weekend, and then during nights. The same is usually for player traffic. It is nice living on the east coast, if i decide to play at 12, there are usually a decent amount of people playing, since it is only 9 on the west coast. Just like dj11 said, deciding to play at 12 on the west coast, there has gotta be a lot fewer players playing

without doubt the best days are the weekend, not only for the good tournaments that are organized, but because many times you can meet with rivals who only play in those days, not engaged in the practice of both poker and used as a hobby any more, or not so experienced player ... clear, I guess this will be valid only for the lower levels, which are in the game I lol ...
