If you are usa, go full tilt or poker stars. Best and biggest rooms are right there.

But since he is entirely new to online poker, he might be better off at bodog. Softer competition and special MTTs and SNGs for beginners.

Yes i think an easier site would be best. Full tilt or pokerstars have good software and traffic

depends really, where you from, what you aim to play. anyway most people will suggest going to pokerstars or fulltilt poker, there is a reason why there are so many people playing there and why the make so much money, they have good games for everyone, for every pocket, personally i like pokerstars!
