Best Sites For Freerolls

Hey guys,

I'm still learning the game. I find I can get a micro-bankroll going from freeroll tournaments just by entering loads and grinding. However, I lose it when trying to develop my cash game (mainly due to poor bankroll management not being able to take the bad beats).

I have enough money to deposit and start good bankrolls. However, I do not trust my game enough yet to keep staking myself when I know I will make mistakes and haven't seen how I tilt to big swings yet. Ideally, I'd like to make my mistakes with money that isn't mine and work my way up that way so I appreciate it more.

I realise it is harder this way, but I figure if I cannot win consistently and control my winnings at this level then it is pointless investing further. I feel if I added all of my freeroll winnings up I would have a sufficient bankroll by now but I have spent them too soon after I have got them.

So essentially I am setting myself a freeroll challenge, but I have only used a handful of poker rooms so far and do not know where the best ones are yet. Is there anyone here who could recommend which sites to go to or avoid when it comes to freerolls?

I'm interested in either high frequency of freerolls or high percentage payout. I am happy to make an initial deposit if this is required, but only if there are substantial benefits to first depositors in terms of freerolls (for a month at least).

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hopefully I can help out here. Being that I am a U.S. player I can't really give you much information on sites like pokerstars, Full Tilt, or any of the other non-U.S. accepting sites. However, I can give you some information regarding Carbon, Black Chip, and Bovada.

To start, Carbon has 5 freerolls each day...but the playing field is usually pretty huge. Usually something like 2500 players each time. I am on the East Coast, so the times for these freerolls are 1:00 AM, 7:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 7:00 PM, and 9:00 PM with the 1:00 PM being a HORSE tournament and the 7:00 PM being Omaha. The others are NL. Each of these freerolls has a $50.00 prize pool.

Black Chip only has 3 freerolls daily, but they also have a $250 new depositor's freeroll as well. I cannot really remember what the prize pool is for the 3 daily ones, but I know one of them is Omaha and the other 2 are holdem. I also think that one of the holdem ones is limit though. If I remember correctly only the top 10 are paid, and I think the prize pool is something like $25 or maybe $50.

Bovada is pretty interesting. They don't really have much going in the way of freerolls that you can just join in on, but rather you need to buy a ticket to these tournaments with the poker points that you earn by playing poker at their site. However, as a new depositor bonus, you get these tickets into a qualifying satellite to their weekly $100,000 guaranteed tournament, which is pretty nice.

Honestly though, when it comes right down to it, the best advice I can give you is to become an active member here. CardsChat has weekly freerolls on all the sites that I mentioned above and more. There is another site that I use as well called PokerOwned if you feel like doing a bit of grinding to earn the points for their freerolls, but I may actually stop on their site. Reason being the freeroll prize values are very small.

Hope this helps :)

Hi welcome to the site, you said you have enough money to deposit, why dont you make a small deposit on pokerstars, you will get access to 6 depositer freerolls per day, the money is quite top heavy ut if you manage a run and get a final table or two you might get a roll going. good luck

Redbet has nice freerolls now. They are in ongame and boss network. There are freerolls € 100-500 prize pools and about 500 players. Good starting stacks and blind structure. ;)

Full tilt is a good room since it offers a freeroll to almost every country with good payouts aswell as a $150 tourney too! I was in the same proposition as you thats how I first got into it. If you want to play hourly tournaments go on pokerstars, bankrollmob is a good tourney to play for beginners

I would by far say stars, there are always free rolls going on daily and qualifying free rolls for the Saturday and sunday cash free rolls. Also in private and regional you can find some cool free rolls. I would definitely check out poker stars for free rolls if you are just getting started up and want to practice. Beware of the loose aggressive players in the beginning they will die away in the middle though.

Thanks for the help guys. Leaning towards pokerstars at the moment - I have heard good things about their software as well from a friend. I might check out some of the others mentioned in the future but I have all I need for now.

Cheers!

Stars is good many freerolls all the time that get you tickets to weekly round 2 tournies. If you are willing to learn a few different variants of poker ....badugi, razz , 2-7 lowball...etc. Tickets can be gotten fairly easily as a lot of people do not know the rules to these types of games but play them anyway.Check out bankrollmobs site they offer starter bankrolls at many sites.....scorp

Bankroll mob is bad in pokerstars... there is about 4k players and 117 place win 0.02 cents... This freerool is better in full tilt

And there is MTT test... this is hard test if you are begginer but if you reed about bouble and how start and how play in final table you can finish this test and win 3.30$ ticket... in this moment you can take part in Wsoop with this ticket if you win satelite ...

This is kind of off track and violates BRM if you have a small roll, so I'm not making a specific recommendation in your case. However, I gained a few bucks on Carbon from a CC freeroll and have more than doubled it already just from playing a few $1.10 double or nothing tournaments.

Not too long ago I made it to 17th place in the daily $50 open freeroll on Carbon, which took almost 2.5 hours and netted me a whopping 18 cents or whatever it was, which has kind of turned me off of these public freerolls.

I've been finding the DoN's really easy to cash in so far and with low variance, mostly all that's needed is to steal the blinds and antes a few times when they get high and win one pot that's at least 1/2 of the starting stack size and you're in good shape to cash. People play really nitty in these, and as far as I can tell bluffing seems to be very rare. Just might be something you want to look at with money you got from freerolls instead of trying to build it up through cash games.

As people have said Poker Stars has many freerolls daily (where you qualify for weekly finals with cash prizes).

The best bit is that they have a wide range of game variants you can try out -- NL Draw, NL 2-7, HORSE, NL+FL Hold Em, Badugi, Stud, NL+FL Omaha Hi/Lo, Stud Hi/Lo, PL Omaha, FL Razz, 2-7 Triple Draw, Mixed [PLHE, PLO]. 8 Game.

Thats where I learnt all the Omaha variants and am learning to play Stud, Razz as well.

n3rv - I am fairly new to cc as well, but not new to online poker !If you are US - then go with Aced , you can build a bankroll there - they have lots of freerolls as well.
Otherwise Full Tilt is good , an not as high of volume as Poker Stars.
If anyone has heard about Bankroll Mob - then join that free and you now can get the passwords to those games being held regularly on both Full Tilt and Poker Stars, they sometimes have them on 888. I have won a few times on those as well as the reg freerolls on both.
So if you want to do the Chris Ferguson thing - it will definitely take a long time of grinding.
gl - it does take patience

full tilt poker has freeroll to your country (for United Kingdom). Prize pool 100$. Field, yesterday was 770 players. If you win 2$ you can transfer it to pokerstars and there play micro tournaments. Otherwise at FTP and at Pokerstars are also bankrollmob freerolls, at Pokerstars it is turbo tournament, at FTP non turbo. Your choice :)

Best poker room for a new player is PokerStars since there are often held freerolls and for them it is possible to get a decent starting stack

I think the best way to build bankroll is to get affilate site for example CC register user over affilate and play this freerolls not freerolls that can enter ove 7,5k on Full Tilt and over 10k poeple on pokerstart. Its really hard to be in last 100 on this tournaments , but affilate tournaments is with less people and they didnt go ALL IN and dint play bingo! All other is really LUCK , all in all in all in all in and all in. Yesterday on Bodava , i lost handed TT , one guy playes every hand all in , and after he goes all in i called and he beat me with 67 suited...Cant handle with this BINGOplayers!

The absolute best site for freerolls for UK/European players is Winamax. This is a french based site that runs freerolls like its going out of style. They have very good traffic and in my opinion very soft games. If you don't mind playing in 5000 player field freerolls and you are patient with playing them. You should be able to make a profit on the site. And for US players, I think Winamax is available for us but I'm not sure. But for people from the UK. This is your sites if you don't mind playing freerolls as they have many of them and good ones at that. Another good site for freerolls is BetOnline. US players are definitely welcomed to the site and they run freerolls everyday ranging from 10 bucks to 300 during the day. If you can get past the bad look of the visual aspect of the software you should manage to build a bankroll through the freerolls. Just my two cents.
