Hello, I'm new on this forum and I would really appreciate it if you could suggest the best room for playing NL2-NL5.:)

I've been playing poker for a year now, and I've also played on some small sites that are no longer in fuction. I wanted to play on poker888, but I heard that 'rake' is huge there ??
Can anyone suggest a site which has normal 'rake'?
Thanks in advance!

Have you tried unibet?

I played about a thousand hands to clear some challenges at NL4(euros) and it seemed to be quite soft but I am not very good at NLHE cash and it bores me a bit.

My games are PLO cash and tournaments and it is so much softer than stars at both.
The MTT guarantees are small. The freerolls offer some value if you are quick to reg as they are limited to about a thousand players, sometimes less.
Be aware that huds are banned, but it is a very friendly site to recreational players with tons of promos and challenges.
Also the rake is absurdly low at the micro stakes, If I remember correctly it is 1% at NL4!

I am not affiliated in any way with them, but they are my favorite at the moment.

I've been playing at Unibetpoker for two years, and only the last half of the year, I go out stably once a week for 20 euros, and it suits me!

regular game in 888 and certainly a lot of fish, so I would recommend 888.

888 Poker or Unibet Poker there are a lot of newcomers to these rooms, in pokerstars there are a lot of sharks who play long and well and you need to play very well to play to win, but it's up to you to decide which poker room is best for you!

Just stay away from pokerstars my friend. Its tough there, so many grinders. And tbh the starcoin system which was changed to the chest system, in my eyes, is utter BS :)

I made a deposit on 888p. I started playing NL2 (that is NL1?? ) to adapt myself a little to the site and players.

First impressions have been very confusing. There's a big number of ultra Donks, also of some OK regulars. (now I have a feeling that if I spent more time on this limit that my IQ is going to drop significantly :D:D )

The reason for my confusion is that I got used to playing with 100bb. Another difficulty I have here is to adapt. Whatever I do, I'm almost pot committed on Turn.
3Bet, semi-bluff Cbet and on Turn I'm all in. (but here there are a lot of fish who don't throw anything. They have already crushed my AK... a lot of times with under pairs QT9r, without a problem they call 44 55..)

My question is, (since I don't know which sizings to use for 3bet, 9-11bb or less) should I even do 3bet for bluff?
I'm even more lost on what to call on their 3bet.

I am really confused about the 1$ stack, I would appreciate some help and input. (i have no any idea how to play short stack :stupido3::stupido3: )

Which hands go up in value for you to calibrate your play when short stacked.
AK,AQ,AJ,A10s or off suit.

I think the confusion is due the fact that at 2Nl at 888, 6 max table max buying is set at 50BB. Full ring is 100BBs though. But from 5Nl upwards it's all 100BB deep

Almost all major poker rooms have a solid base of microstakes tables.

Of course not in the amount of Pokerstars or Full tilt, but, still, if you are playing at the very bottom stakes (2-5NL) you can find some action. Unfortunately there aren't so many full-ring tables, apart from Pokerstars/Full Tilt.

I would say Americas Cardroom they have games as low as 2NL and they are real soft they have freerolls with only 600-700 players in them that offer you a shot at placing in them every time even though they only payout $10 prize pools but hey here's an example I ran a .55 freeroll stake up to $7.59 so far and still building. The SNG's are soft there as well I haven't played in any MTT's yet waiting to build my bankroll here alittle more for that but all in all Americas Cardroom would be the way to go.
