Hi,
just wanted everyone to know that it looks like banks are starting to block our deposits via third party companies.
I just tried to make a deposit on Full Tilt using Click2Pay which I have done several times before, the lastest about 2 weeks ago.
It rejected my deposit and I called Full Tilt who advised me to call Click2Pay which I did and they said that my bank, Bank Of America rejected the transaction.
This is crazy, yes most people use something like Click2Pay for funding online poker accounts but it's not the only thing you can use Click2Pay for so I can't belive banks are stopping us depositing, they have no idea what I could be using that money to purchase.
Anyone else had similar experience with any other third pary funding services?

Keith

I also use Bank of America and they are blocking transactions to any Internet bank like paypal, neteller, and Click2Pay. The rep told me it was until the rules of the Port Security bill are defined. Then they will go from there.

I work for a credit card company. If Click2Pay authorizes the transaction to a gambling site the bank or credit card company has potential charge back rights and does not have to honor the transaction. Therefore Click2Pay is taking a huge risk if they allow it to go through.

(This is if course pending the interpretation of the bill)

I know nothing about Click2Pay, but blocking Paypal and NeTeller is pure stupidity by BOA. They are not affected by the current language in the legislation as they are not gambling websites. They are online financial institutions that deal with other merchants besides (and in addition to) poker/gaming websites.

Paypal doesn't allow transactions to poker sites so this makes no sense. Did you go to the bank and ask them why this happened?

I talked to a Corperate Manager and he said that the reason given to allow that part of the bill on there is because of certain accounts sending money to terrorists. Because of this they are not allowing any transactions to any online banks that are based overseas (almost all of them I believe). I worked for Bank of America briefly and they have had a lot of problems with transactions going to terrorist groups. They actually have a specific CIA agent that works directly with thier fraud department.

This part disturbs me. What about all those Ebayers out there, buyers and Sellers?
