Good afternoon, I've played poker online for some time now, I'm feeling a bit difficult, compared to live poker, there are many badbeats in online poker, especially in pokerstars, someone can give me tips ...

In my opinion the reason there are also many bad beats online is because you see way more cards than you do in a live tournament. I do agree though. There's so many bad beats online. I've been dying on the Chico Network

I think there are bad beats in live poker as well as online. I don’t think there are anymore on line than live.

I think it's even. Online see a lot more hands then live.

I played 1/2 last night and 2 bad beats in approximately 3 hours of live play. It sucked 1 player busted my KK with 2 pair (2h3h) on the turn and river could not even figure out why he was even in the hand? I guess it was suited LMAO!!!

Second KK again on the button with a middle position raiser so 4 bet and he just calls. Flop 10,5,K rainbow. He bets pot size I shove. He calls. Turn 8, river 6.
He hits runner runner for a straight. His holding you guessed it 97 suited.

I just looked at him and said nice hand.
I don't see anything other than folding I could have done differently to get him off
his shitty hand!!!

Its because of number of hands that you play online compared to live. You see much more hands online. There are same chance of getting bad beats online and live.

I completely agree. Yes you see more hands per hour on-line than live, but the percentages don't lie. Way more bad beats. And don't you just love the runner runner bad beats that eliminate you and keep a player with more pre-hand starting chips alive and knock you out?

I think the number of bad beats is in correlation with the range of hands people call with.

Online there is always another tourney or game to get into so people play looser. When people play live there usually isn't another game so players are more selective so not as many bad beats.

Plus, as other posters have said the amount of hands played online are such a higher ratio that it just seems like more bad beats
