Is this a joke, I mean it has to be right? That is the worst idea I have ever heard.

Well if you add bitcoin. This is a significant increase in the number of players. And will make a variety in payment system.

No. Imagine only you winning a hefty one day, and the other day the value of btc going down?

Leave it as it is. Take the money you get and buy btcs.

There are rooms that accept btc as a way of depositing.

But the awards continue in the traditional way, as they should be.

If you can convert it to your local money paying less taxes than with traditional payments, it is a good idea.
In some countries like brasil "sell bitcoin" is an activity more "legal" than "I won playing Poker" in the view of our IRS (Receita Federal) so it can help with Wire Transfer problems.

There is a bitcoin poker site.
I agree bitcoin provides payment flexibility. There can be massive swings in their value though, and you have to be prepared to accept this will happen.:)

Bad idea.

I prefer only cash.
Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are bubbles.
In a couple of years everyone will forget them.
Mining is already in the past.

I prefer real money, I know what I'm getting. As someone said, if there is a site that uses Bitcoin then use that site.

Prepare to accept some changes with cryptocurrency as it would greatly facilitate the payment system for poker rooms. Initially it would be good to introduce the option to choose in which currency to laugh your money, either the traditional money or the cryptocurrency of your preference, as well as the deposits that in some rooms has already begun to be used.

It is the future although many do not see it in the short term, the disadvantage at the moment is the fluctuation in the price of bitcoin for example but that can be controlled with an exchange system vs dollar or euro that is effective.

Here I leave a page where you will see updated prices at the time of cryptocurrency:

Keep in mind that you have massive currency risk when you hold bitcoin.

Just think of those who had bitcoin at the beginning and sold them off for pennies.
The most classic, and true story is the guy who bought 2 pizzas for 10,000 bitcoins back in 2010.

Just think, in today's value that guy paid $40,000,000 for 2 pizzas.

Here's an article about that famous transaction, although it's a few month out of date since bitcoin has doubled since then...

I prefer money instead of BTC. Money is more value stable. On the other hand, BTC can be more worth in the future.

when i have my first portions of bitcoins it has a value about $700, now it's over $4k. risky? i don't think that, expert says that in 2020 could reach 10k.
