Hi all,
I didn't know if you had any experience with this, but I got an invitation to a 1K freeroll from AP to "get me back". It was at 1 pm today. I got home a little late around 1.15 and logged on figuring I'd just be down a couple blinds.

Lo and behold when I sign in I finished in like 350th, but the tournament was only running for like 15 minutes. Was I automatically kicked out because I didn't "sit" in time? I wasn't aware this was a rule. I'm a little mad about it. It's not really a big deal since it was a freeroll and all I just wanted to play in it.

Thank for your thoughts.

One rotation of the table and if you are not sitting youre kicked out as a non player...freerolls private and public only.

I'm pretty sure you have to be sitting within the 1st ten minutes.

It's too bad all sites don't kick out the sitters in freerolls after 10 minutes.

In a buy in you should never be kicked out. However you should never be able to win a hand in absentia either.

If they are taking my blinds, and the hand is walked to me, then I win, whether I am actually there or not. Easy solution is the auto sitout when a player times out. No blinds or antes, no win.

if u dont play a hand during the first blind level Ap will remove u from the tournament. this is annoying but alot of people get knocked out after 15mins lol. u cant be late in ap freerolls lol. i prefer cardschat freerolls, thers more money, less people, and better players.

me kind of nice if they would do this on fulltilt. make some tournies if not all go a little quicker. so their chips just dissappear along with the player?

AP does this but I believe players should have until the second blind level come to do it. Some players may have an excuse for being late. I also think all sites should do the same at start of second level of play.

i like it too - sit outs make it boring if the whole table is sitouts which has happened to me on occasion.
