Hi,
I recently moved from Denmark (Europe) to NYC, and had to say bye to pokerstars and a lot of other beautiful poker rooms :((((

I have been playing on Lockpoker for a while, since they accept NY players, but their customer service sucks, and they do not payout, when you request a cashout.

So my question to my fellow New York players, Where should I play???

Where do you play? I need a site where cashout is not an issue.

PLEASE :)

hehe. had to comment this. rather move to UK no restrictions with poker rooms there from what i know.in Denmark there is, obv depends what rooms you play on of course but lost many great sites due to our law regulation crap.

tbh then i dont think that any US players get cash out straight away from any of the sites, from what i can read around. i may be wrong tho :p or is new york different from other states

curious, what made you move to New york? and isent there any near state there have better options with poker

welcome btw & sorry for off topic.

I feel the same way, I wish I had a time machine so I could've started playing in '06 when the games were really good. Oh well, one day...

This is true, but then again all US-facing sites' support sucks compared to Stars. About the only site in my experience that has better support than Lock would be BCP, and *maybe* Carbon, but only if you deal with their forum reps directly and not by emailing the generic support address.

and they do not payout, when you request a cashout.
This is NOT true. I've had numerous cashouts from Lock. At least 5 figures total over the last 18 months or so, including the last in August, on both Merge and Revolution networks. If you monitor the very active cashout thread at 2+2, you'll see that virtually everybody gets paid... eventually.

They can be slow, yes, but then again so is everybody else when it comes to US cashouts. Sometimes Lock is faster than the competition, sometimes slower. They all tend to leapfrog each other. WU cashouts are by far the recommended method, with money in hand in typically 2-3 weeks. If you go with a check it'll take 6-8 weeks or longer, then you'll probably receive a check drawn on a Canadian bank that your bank may hold for another 4+ weeks for international collections. So you definitely want to avoid a check.
