Hello once again,

This Friday I will be playing a 40 dollar MTT at Harrah's I believe. Start time is 10am Eastern. I've never played a tournament in AC before. Should I register online or with the tourney director when I get there a few hours before the tourney? Any experiences regarding how many people usually play? Thanks in advance.

You'll have to register w/ the tournament director...typical hour b/f to register, you know?

As for the field, I wouldn't expect to many people...especially at Harrahs. It's not the best card room in AC. But you may get 20 people or so.

If you have the time, Bally's has a $60 buy in @ 1pm that usually gets 4-5 tables w/ some lighter weight competiton.

Either way, good luck my friend.

never played there either myself. borgata has some great guaranteed tourny's. fields get so big it looks like the wsop main event. if you are going to try the borgata out make sure you register early, you wind up stading in a line for a while if you don't. the line is so long it has delayed every tourny i have been to there. wish you the best of luck.

Harrah`s field is usually around 40 - 50 on a good Friday AM. Same for Showboat (11AM) or Bally`s (noon), Borgata is usually a bigger buy-in and the field is massive with tough competition so save yourself some $$$ and aggravation and stick to the smaller ones to start. The evening tournaments always get the bigger crowds. Good Luck and play smart!
