At "POKERSTARS" is this cheating or then what is it then

A was playing in a tournament at stars and a strange thing happened. I was at A great table (6-8) of us looking at the flop. Then A strange thing happened. I was moved to the deadest table ever. Even stanger the table I was moved from didn't break up. They moved another player in my seat. Why move me anyways. Why not just put the other player in the seat they needed filled? I asked them and they said they needed to keep the tables balanced. Let me know what you think. Later Spindoct.

this is standard for any tournament anywhere

this isnt only online and surely isnt only on stars

Yeah but damned annoying when they shift you for balancing, but put you with all the chip leaders :(

This is one of the differences between poker stars and full tilt poker.

On Poker Stars they do instant balancing. It happens frequently that a player is moved to balance the tables and then seconds later the tables need to be balanced again and the vacated seat is filled.

On Full Tilt they freeze the tables when balancing is needed (at least later in tournaments) and wait until all hands are finished and then balance the tables. Sometimes the need to balance is eliminate by further player elimination.

i've never played in a big tourney on any site that didn't move you to balance out....gets annoying when you get moved like four times within two minutes and miss out on a few hands or are short stacked and they sit you with the top three tourney leaders lol....sometimes i'm at a table full of donkeys and can't wait for them to move me lol

All sites, when balancing the tables, do not consider chip stacks or type of players. They should however consider position. eg. If you were on the button, you will be close to the button on the new table (but not in the blinds).
