I've been playing freeroll on Americas Card Room (ACR) for a couple of months so I decided to deposit some money. I deposited about $100 and a couple days later they closed my account. It is suspicious that as soon as I deposit money they suspend my account and won't let me withdraw any of it. I've tried to email their support and submitted all the documents they required.

They are giving me the ring-around and passing me between multiple support members. Everyone is repeating the same copy paste response such as resting my password, which is not my issue. They take over four days to respond to my support tickets, maybe it is due to the corona virus. An issues with their support system is that every time you respond to an email it creates an entire new support ticket, so any progress with the previous responses are lost and a new member is assigned to your issue. I end up trying to explain the situation multiple times, and talked to five different support staff already and no one has been able to help me.

There is no way to contact them other than an email address. There is no phone number. No way to talk to a manager or someone that has a clue what they are doing. ARC IS SHADY. Do not expect great customer service.

After a month of trying to get through the support, I've given up. At this point I've lost all hopes of recovering my funds. I'm just glad I tested the deposit with a small amount before trying a larger amount.

Please provide me your screen name and a brief explanation of the issue, by private message, to follow up your case and further assist you.

They will return the money most likely well you will spend a lot of nerves and there will be no compensation. I had the same problem with another poker room, they all work the same way, as soon as you make a deposit or win, they can block and they will find the reason. Remember, you play by their rules, this is their field.

Ouch, hope it works out for you.
I gave up on their sites, for some reason they said I needed proof of who I was after all the time playing there. It happened on one site, so I just started playing the other one. then it happened on that one.
I am locked out of both, I moved and now my license doesn't match my address. They were having too many problems anyway so why bother.

yes, remember they are not regulated period! I have been fighting the same issue for some time now, and I guarentee if you try to deposit another 100 dollers they will gladly take it.Been trying to get my account verified for a bit now, no luck, sent them everything they have asked for and still no verification. My account is not suspended and they still happily take my money!

I use to play on that site and I also had issues with the customer service, I did have a phone number for them and I have reached them before you can try 877-314-4195 I do not use bit coin and the way the system is now they really only want bit coin players, especially if you live in the United States.
Good Luck!

it seems poker sites have always given issues like this to jam up the funds on the site.

I have a friend who had $200 on his account but he hadn't played in over a year and deleted the e-mail his account was linked to. The information on his account was bogus because he's paranoid and didn't want his real info out there and now they won't help him and let him switch e-mails without an ID and a utility bill, which he does not have.

I know they wouldn't want to give out someone's money to someone else without some sort of proof so I don't blame ACR but it's unfortunate for my buddy who started with almost nothing and worked his bankroll up.

It's not only on acr, the rules are the same, you can even restore an account and play it.

So i guess your friend is not the smartest? If you put fake data in your account infos why do you expect to see any of the money that was won 'illegally"? Its not ACR's fault if people are paranoid or stupid and im glad they took his account and money. One cheater less i guess :icon_thum

And by the way: i made many deposits and withdrawals there. Never had any problems.
