ApplePiePoker wtf? need help anyone

When I first saw the advertisement for OFC tourneys on ApplePie Poker I thought "wtf? ApplePiePoker... are you even serious?" thinking I'd never deposit & play on there.
As it got closer to the day I thought "wtf... another OFC.. why not? Super soft fields & a chance at winning a prize (trip to Malta)" So I made a minimum deposit on 'ApplePie' & played the events along with a couple of other micro tourneys on there.

This morning I was thinking > "ApplePie.... please. I'm never going to be playing on there again unless there's another OFC & if there is I'll just re-deposit then. I think I'll withdrawl the majority of what I have on there (it's not much but why leave it just sitting there?)"

I attempt to go to 'Cashier' & unlike other cake network sites it opens up ie & a page pops up saying I need to fill in Profile Details (I'd already done this when I first deposited/signed up). It then asks me to fill in my details for 'VenicePoker & Venice Casino' & when I don't, it doesn't let me proceed any further (can't get into cashier). I've never even heard of VenicePoker/Venice Casino???
Also in ProfileDetails it's telling me I have a username for ApplePie-Everleaf but I never opened an ApplePie-Everleaf account (I specifically joined, downloaded & deposited on ApplePie-Cake).

So I see a 'LiveChat' tab off to the right side of the page, click on it & send my message..... ~1hr. ago & it just sits there with zero response.

Not sure what I need to do to get the few bucks off of that site now? (I'd deposited via skrill/Moneybookers so am not concerned with withdrawl problems there.... but how do I even access my 'cashier' is what I'm wondering?).

I know a few others from Cardschat were playing in the OFC ApplePie events. Have you folks tried to access your funds on there?

so I ended up putting in fictitious letters for acc't name on Venice & then it let me proceed. Also had to transfer $'s from 'Casino' to 'ApplePie' (I'm guessing that's the 'bonus free 10' we got for playing via OFC? Why would they put it on 'Casino'?).
Put the withdrawl through now & it says it was successfully sent (but process was much different than anyother time I've made a withdrawl from a pokersite).

Will update if &/or when I actually see the $'s in my MB account.

now wtf Apple wtf Poker?!?!?

So it said my withdrawl went through on ApplePie (received an email) & then I received another email from them saying they needed documents for verification.

Tonight I login to ApplePie Poker (cake network) & all of the lobbies are f'n empty? At first I think "wtf, did I mess up my filters or something?" (I've never touched any of the filters). Then I wonder if Cake network is down (but why would I be able to login? ... makes no sense). I go login on intertops, Cake, Lock... & they're all fine. Back onto ApplePie & there's still NOTHING!

I open up cash table lobby & there's not a single player sitting on any table. wtf? I sitdown on a table & when I go to sit w $4 on a 4nl table, I only have $3 & change left in my account (the amount I'd left after making withdrawl).
I can't find my withdrawl pending money & can't find a single game on their lobby. What gives? (I know there are some other CC members who played in those OFC ApplePie games... are you folks able to get on there & do you have any games showing in the lobbys?).

Maybe my initial thinking (when I received the first OFC ApplePie poker email) was right > "who the fk would put money on a site called 'ApplePie Poker'?" Well I did, lol.
Tell me I've made a mistake somehow with filters/settings (although I've clicked on & off of everything now... )

Still no response from ApplePiePoker (aka Casino Lunch) & there's also still zero games available in the lobbys.. wtf?

I'm wondering if this is associated in anyway to the current situation with Spain? I actually signed up to some pokersites via a Spanish affiliate & am no longer able to play their games due to the change with Spain this month. Has Malta been affected similiarly? .... anyone?

Wonder when (if) I get my withdrawl... sigh.

I've contacted Tara at GlobalGamingEvents (O.F.C.) to see if she has any info. on what's going on with ApplePie Poker & also gave her a link to this thread.

PO, sorry I havent replied sooner, first time Ive been on in a week. I was curious as to you finding Apple Pie empty, so Ive just opened the client, and I cant find a single player anywhere, either. Ive tinkered with filters and everything, and nothing. Strangely, according to the lobby it says 1500 players on 513 tables.......................edit: open up the play money section, they're all in there mate!

I also saw the lobby was empty at Cake, luckily I only had 10 euro something on it withdrew it immediately and I received it on my MB in 3 days. Received 2 small ones btw this month. Hope it get sorted out quick for you

Hi All, Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Orient Play, the owner of Casino Lunch and Apple Pie Poker, appears to be closing operations. He is no longer in communication with us, and the Apple Pie poker site on Cake was disconnected earlier this week. I am not sure of their future plans, as we are not being told, but I would recommend caution before continuing to promote Casino Lunch or any related casino. Both Gian and I have no future dealings with this company effective immediately, and the account at GPWA has been terminated as well. Thank you for your previous support, and I am very sorry that we are done.

Just received an email back with them saying at my documents weren't sufficient HUGE LOL at this (I sent utility bill which they said was ok... & sent an up-to-date Driver's License (which they'd specifically asked for & which is EXACTLY what I've sent to every single Cake network site I've played on) & they said it would not be accepted & instead I'd need to send either a) passport or b) National ID card

What f'n site do you need a f'n passport to play on? Give me a break!! (what if I can't get a passport?.. I can but it'd take awhile).
b) we don't have 'NATIONAL ID' cards in canada??? WTF are they even talking about?

The truth is > I heard that CasinoLunch didn't pay fees owed to Cake network (I don't have the facts but have heard this from a reputable resource... hopefully 'THEY' will come & post on here at some point (when they come back from their cruise???). Makes me want to throw up reading the scammy response I just got from support, suggesting what I've sent in to them is not sufficient ('documents'). Gimme a f'n break!!

Unreal. OFC hookin up with fly by nighters. I did not play the OFC Apple Pie game myself, figuring I have already played about 10 OFC games, and am growing weary of winning little money and then needing to win $500 before a withdraw is allowed on the site, or the site goes under, as in this case.

That is the main reason I only play OFC games on sites that are more reputable.

Very sorry to hear this Poker Orifice. I also have some money there, 20$ won in freerolls. I never made a deposit, but I almost did for the OFC, but since I wasn't sure I was going to be able to play the OFC buyin, I decided not to deposit.

It's amazing how fast this scammed site opened and closed operations.

I contacted Wolf from OFC, he gave me a contact # at ApplePie (casino lunch) & also Tara got involved.
After receiving a couple more complete BS emails.. all of a sudden my withdrawl was processed instantly (after they said they weren't doing it).

So... a big thanks to the folks at OFC & to Kata at casino lunch for shipping me my funds!!!

It is amazing how quick these sites advertise - "come here - we give you this and that"
then they go so quietly on their teepee toes so no one would hear that they closed.

I had $8 there so no big deal, had bad feelings about it too when OFC started, I wish they did have a way to check out better the sites they associate with. On the other hand probably the sites are not lining-up to sponsor OFC events like they did in the past
