Hello,
Has anyone tried out ltepoker.com? Its open to US players and is offering deposit bonuses and 3 day cashouts to US players. The lobby traffic looks a little slow right but I'm thinking that it might be worth a shot.

I heard about it and went to register a new account....

then realized there is no option to select US for country. Try it if you think I'm wrong.

Someone suggested that you email support to change your country but I wouldn't ever suggest someone do this bc you agree to Terms & Conditions saying that the info you provided is accurate.

Til they get US in their country selection, I wouldn't suggest any US players go there. Too sketchy.

I think that them not allowing you to select that you are from the US is part of their security. I'm not too worried about that part of it.

If you are from the USA do not join this site without the special approval from the site or you will probably not get paid. (and they do not accept NY either way) If you do get paid, there is always the possibility of being banned if they discover your location.

Why people are joining these new sites is beyond me anyway, unless you know it is backed by rich, experienced poker insiders.

Anyway, besides that, this site was opened in February of 2012 and is a 'Stand-Alone site (no Network). It is licensed by Curacao Gaming Commision which is generally regarded as worthless. They seem to have a nice, responsive Poker Representative. It seems some people like it from what I have read, as you can imagine it has very light traffic. US Players have never been allowed to play until now. On 9/18 they announced they are looking for 200 US 2+2ers to join.

The ONLY way for US Players to join properly, is:

1: Must have 50 or more 2+2 posts.

2: Must not live in a state where online poker is deemed “illegal.”

3: Minimum Deposit $50

4: Must Be at least 21 years of Age

5: You must be an active player on LTE Poker. If your LTE Poker account remains inactive and without funds for a period of 60 days we will close your account and open the spot to another player.

6: *Please Pm us before registering on our website* This is the crucial part before your allowed to join and play.

7: All European funds are kept segregated from US players.

I joined without any affiliation with 2+2 and they gave me $10 to try it out....traffic is extremely slow though- zero sngs and zero tournaments ever going on and haven't even seen a full cash game going. There's probably like 4 people on at one time. Granted I just joined yesterday but so far the traffic seems incredibly low.
