I am not a bot
interesting topic... was 2nd in chips in $100 freeroll the other night about even stack with chip lead with 3 left, 1 guy had like 3 bbs and folds everything, i raise button with 88, bb is chip lead and calls, flop like 7 3 2 rainbow.. he jams instantly... I'm thinking .. ok you want me to have all the chips in play! easy call with 88 he shows Q 10 os and rivers the 10... if you say the bots are supposed to get 1st, then this is suspicious. I have not saw anyone that acted or played like a bot. But i did see 1 guy in the free rolls jl2016, i put a note on him that he was really good.. the next day he won 2 of the $1000 guarantee tourneys which i thought was amazing, I continued watching him cause i was kind of suspicious.. He played some bigger tourneys got some cashes and he vanished like 3 days later. I don't think he was a bot, but it's something i saw so i'll add it to the topic for you guys to think about.

Thanks for saying I'm good! I came across this and thought I'd say something since I don't chat while playing anymore and people at my tables have said I was a bot too. I thought it might look suspicious to you and others who might be watching me play since I just took the #1 on the silver mtt leaderboard this week after grinding freerolls and "vanishing." I had been #1 on the silver board for about 3 months before that, basically since one month after I joined.
I was playing in the freerolls because of bad
bankroll management - cashed out $8k the week before from big wins and then lost $2k playing $22, $33 and $44 rebuys over the weekend before I was ready, and with too small a br. Just getting back to the game after 10 years away and br management was always my weak point. I didn't go down in stakes fast enough and started doubting my game and adjusting and spiraling down from there. We've all probably been there.
So I was grinding freerolls nocturnally out of shame ("vanishing") after using up VIP points and also making adjustments to my game to win more. Beating 1830 people to make $5 will teach you a few things. Spent 3 months going from $0-20 on Monday to as much as $1k by the weekend and going broke over the weekend, just taking out what I needed to live on. This week I went from $18 on Tuesday to $3k 5 days later by taking 1/116 in $1 rebuy, 1/280 in $5 rebuy, then 1/330 in $6 rebuy, and getting the $500 Silver leaderboard bonus. I think I'm getting close with my new adjustments.
I'm just working on my game and taking $ out when I need it. If I'm going to make adjustments it's better to work them out at lower stakes. Going broke is not good, but I'm learning a lot and getting better. I think I can have same win rate in $20 and over rebuys after my latest adjustments sink in. We'll see, but it's been a good week back. Donk plays just depend on how drunk, stoned or depressed I am at the moment. At 100% I can be pretty good. But it's just me, not a bot.
