Just tried to log in and there's a message saying that TrueMoneyGames (and aiui other games sites run by Melita Gaming based in Malta) is ceasing operations and all players should request withdrawl of funds ASAP. Everything was fine last night.

I'm not exactly surprised as the server has been up and down a lot over the last week or so, and player numbers were dismally low. I'd also made a point of using up all my frequent player points and deciding to move on if I lost my E25 deposit - I didn't as I still had E20 left, not bust but also not enough for a direct withdrawl to my bank!

Never really understood why people would put money on these tiny sites that aren't a part of a bigger network...

Me, because they hosted World series Of Backgammon, and poker was a side interest.

Yes, TMG is closing down. cashing out my funds took about two week. the server is down now and the website is offline. You may still be able to contact them at cashier@truemoneygames.com or support@truemoneygames.com
Don't count on the regulator being any help, the Malta Lotteries and gambling Authority has been singularly unresponsive, which is very surprising as the hold licenses for over 150 online poker sites, some of the big names too.

That's easy, they provided good service with a superb user interface and challenging deepstack tournament structures. Also, you get to play a small community of players regularly which enables you to improve your player reading skill more quickly than at a large site.

Hi Robert.

How long ago did you send the email to LGA?

I once send a email regarding a Entraction site, where i didnt get any answer for 10 days or so - but after that i got a reply and a contactperson and things moved progressively from there.

They can be slow in the beginning, but you should receive a reply - otherwise shoot them a new email :)

Did you try contacting TMG first at the address given above with all the details of your account? The LGA took at least a month to respond to my emails and TMG had already processed my cashouts after about 3 weeks. I'm not impressed with the LGA at all, they seem to be to "cosy" with their licensees.

truemoneygames

I called LGA Malta ,I wrote emails but they dont answer anymore.Seems that nobody cares that truemoneygames players lost their money, in my case about 600 Euros. So i think the controlling offices of Malta are not interested to help anybody. That means i will never play on a server thats controlled of Malta. That controll seems to be worth nothing.I am really disapointed, first they ask you for all documents after they got it,you will never hear something again from LGA Malta.

Don't play on small networks and don't play with money you can't afford not to get back...
