Hey,
I'm at the moment a regular on unibet micro & low stake cash games and I was thinking of trying out Ladbrokes, because it's also a sport betting site. (I found those sites fishier than for exemple pokerstars).

Are the micro & low stakes beatable? I mean do they have lots of recreational players or more regs?

What about the tournaments? Good structures?

Thanks in advance!

Definitely plenty of recreational players, but can't comment on tournament structure, sorry. No use to me, sadly, because I tend to play in the middle of the night and they don't have enough traffic then.

Ok, thanks for the feedback. I'll probably open an account in December and I'll tell you what I think about it.

Hi Vvanns. I agree with NOWuckingFurries. In fact they don't have muh traffic at all. I used to play there and found it difficult to get games/ regulars going. I would find myself waiting for a S'n'G players for ages - compared to others. If you get a good deal - rakeback for example - it will take you a long time to make it pay. GL anyway...........:D:D:D

My experience with ladbrokes was depositing for the poker then told it went into sports betting account and me saying but i deposited it for poker. I was then told I cant transfer it or cash it out i have to use for sport betting i went livid threatened to sue then when calmed down reversed charged it and decided to never play their. note no money was staked so was only claiming mine back.

that been said it was probably an incompetent member of staff as many sites on the ipoker network start with sports betting accounts and then transfer over.

However with the changes coming in to ipoker in the new year i really would not recommend this network carbon poker looks like great site but not available to the uk maybe unibet i dont know. I am in process of clearing bonus then leaving stars so need to find new home myself.

Pretty sure it was just an incompetent member of the staff (which is not unusual on many site's support staff)

On all of the ipoker sites I play on, you can always move/transfer your funds back & forth to your sports betting account < - > poker & vice versa. (< really simple process) And on some of the sites the initial deposit always starts off in what they consider as the 'Main Account' (which is sports).

888Poker is pretty soft for micro & low stakes cash games... only problem though is they limit you to a max. of 4 tables.

There's not a very good schedule for micro tournaments on iPoker & I have no idea how the SNG's are.

Thanks for the info guys! One last question: is it possible to use HM2 or PT4 on Ladbrokes? I know at some sites it's not possible (for exemple Unibet)

So yesterday I deposited 200 euro on Ladbrokes, because my regular site Unibet totally collapsed after not being able to handle the massive playerspool with the milestone bonus. Started on the nl10 & nl20 games & had some huge coolers, but today having a nice winning streak. Indeed not a ton of games running, but the field is pretty soft, comparing with Stars. The software is super oldschool, in the beginning I found it funny, now it's more and more annoying. HM2 works perfectly on it, but not on Speed poker, also PT4 doesn't give a hud for Speed poker. Anyway, thanks for the advice! I'm going to keep on playing here, but mainly stick with Unibet mainly. Peace

Nooooo, you come back to Unibet and i go to laddies. Hungarians are banned from there now, for idk what reason.

Ladbrokes was the first site i played at, and was fairly profitable even as a complete beginner. But i think microgaming field improved a lot also, you can probably find the softest games at the brittish pound tables now.

Jep, I play a lot at the pounds nl20 tables, really soft!
And I'm still playing a bit on Unibet, the Unibet Open Sattelites, as I want to qualify for every event. Already qualified for Kopenhagen the end of February.
Btw: Unibet has his own network now, no more microgaming, they got independant about a year ago.

Good luck on ladbrokes! I play there for a few years and so far is a decent poker room. Good support and no problems cashing out, which is the most important thing to me.

Yup i got it now, i started on uni at early december, was quite confused about old ad banners with microgaming promos. Whats your name on Uni btw?Maybe we have met on nl10, i bet you were one of the aggressive purple girl avatar ones.

Ah yes, forgot that part of ladbrokes, its one of the most trustworthy sites, with fast cashouts and costumer support,
Probably the reason they were allowed to come first to belgium, ladbrokes is like 130 years old now, those guys wont just disappear with your money like how wincake or absolutepoker did with mine :(
