Anyone else have an issue with 888 poker crashing?

Ever since I upgraded to the latest version of 888's software with the new look I have had multiple occasions of the software crashing. It turn white and I have to end it in task manager.


This only happens to me on this site and only since the software changed.


Has anyone else had this problem. It just cost me a tournament folding a hand I had raised and re-raised only to crash out.

Yes 20 times or so within the last week. Wrote in the "official 888 thread" about it and got the advice to re-install the software, which I did yesterday. Dont think, it has crashed since then, but the jury is still out, if this was a lasting solution.

It seem to me like, the 888 software cant handle short fall-outs of my internet connection. These also happen, when I play on pokerstars, but the difference is, the Stars software dont crash, so usually I still have time to act, when the connection is back a few seconds later.

I have had this problem for a while. Here is a sort of fix..still happens but not as much. Uninstall, clear cache, restart computer. Disable antivirus, download and install 888. Enable antivirus with exception to allow the 888 exe file. I also notice that when a popup shows up during a tourney, it will freeze. I am assuming it is the software. Waiting for a new update.

Wow, so does seem to be a bug, can be costly depending on the hand. Fundiver seems to be getting it worse than me but I am getting it regularly. I am assuming the client interacts with the web browser if clearing cache is advised? I have just tried changing my default browser to give that a go.

I really like 888, but I have not played for awhile because it kept crashing midgame,
Hated it when I flopped pocket aces and it crashed deep into a tourney.

It doesn’t start on my weak PC either

I can't even log in when it's busy. I don't know if that's just a canada thing.

Nope, just finished tourney.

Have been playing on 888 Poker again since may 1 with absolutely no issues. I have noticed though, that quite a few people are sitting out from tournaments, so there might be some regional differences, or it could depend on, which kind of device you are playing from.
