Well for your days off there are all of the amusement parks - Universal, Sea World, etc.

There are quite a few outlet shopping centers if your wife is interested.

Hard Rock Cafe is cool for some poker playing. It is in Tampa - about a 45 min drive I think, depending on where you are in Orlando.

I lived there long enough to hate the touristy stuff, but there is lot's of stuff to do in the kissimmee/ i-drive area (tourist central). If you like the water parks Wet-N-Wild is pretty good for daytime entertainment. For weekend evenings though I suggest downtown orl. avoiding the bass-thumping teenager filled clubs there are a lot of little bars with charm and that aren't packed full with tourists (I tend not to like huge crowds of people). My favorite is a little irish pub called Kate O'something or other on Orange Ave (main drag in downtown) or you can just stroll and people watch checking out the scene as you go along. If you don't mind the crowds Universal Citywalk will give you lot's of different options (clubs, bars, restaraunts, etc.). My fav there has got to be Bob Marley's. Beware though with $10 parking and tourist priced drinks and food it can get kinda pricey. Also great english pub on I-drive (mercado area) called the Cricketer Arms (i think that's what it's called). Anyways, have fun on your trip, and if you have any more specific questions feel free to ask.

P.S. the only gambling that I know of are the sunship cruise type of thing, where you go 3 miles out for about 6 hrs. Lots of fun but with free food and drinks as long as you gamble you can quickly find yourself not able to drive home.

There are a few casinos owned by Indians on land. They are not the same as normal casinos. But the one in Tampa does have a poker room. You can only play limit. I have been there 4 or 5 times and always had fun. They do have tournies but I never played in any of them.

I went last year to Orlando on holiday. Amazing place!! You MUST go to Islands of Adventure if you're into theme parks. Incredible Hulk amongst others is an unreal rollercoaster.

This was my favorite theme park too. I had a heart attack on that roller coaster - not sure if I could ride it again lol.

We might hit up a theme park......We have decided so far that we are going to go to Arabian Nights, its kinda like the Dixie Stampeed, and Midevil Times, which we have been to both a few times. Other than that we don't know what we are doing?? I don't know if we will have a lot of time for a theme park, if so we want to go to Disney World...??? We are still checking out what else to do...I can't wait...

If you don't have a lot of time, skip Disney World, there's too much to see. Or if you really want to go, pick one park for the day and go with that. There's no way to see them all in one day.

I wouldn't do Disney World unless I had small children to take. The other parks are more fun for adults.
