Hello everyone. My suited hands no longer win. After 3 deposit all my baknkrolls is down, honestly that is horrible for me. I wrote to pokerstars support with the request to change my nickname (that was 3-4 month above) but got a answer was that not possible.
Answer pls PokerStars support why that is impossible and what is the cause of the refusal ?
Thanks.

This condition, the impossibility of changing the nickname in the poker room is written in the rules with which you agree when registering in the poker room! This is primarily due to the purpose of excluding fraud on the part of the player and the ability to quickly track it, and also it is not unimportant for the opponents to be able to remember each other.

That is just the way it is and it actually reads in the terms when you first make your account so you should've known that from the start. I don't know the exact reason why it is so but I believe that it is meant to protect you and everyone else from misuse. In poker, it is important for you to gather important information about your opponents and know your enemies. You see a lot of familiar usernames every time you play and learn to know their style and tendencies. That means that you can use that information in your favor. That's why it would be quite unfair to everyone else if someone would suddenly change their username and re-appear as someone else.

I'm not sure about PokerStars, but I know that some other poker sites will let you close your account and then open a new one.

So I know that pokerstars does not let you change nickname since it would be like a scam for other users..as I am akatama and I play in a certain way and regular players know me and if I change my nickname I would put In disadvantages to those who do not know who I am .. so they explained it to me when I asked to change my nickname

totally agree with you , but I wish play and see something better then always lose all my bankrolls for which I had big plans.
Will be great if PokerStars security department verify my account. Because when I am playing I thinking what I am playing in .... -EV pool :(
I hope this help without changing my nickname. Thanks.

Every site is different 888 Poker also wont let you change nick name. party poker does allow a change. You mean your suited AK doesn't win?? I don't think changing your screen name will help with the luck.

I'm saying this with all kindness but if you are losing, the problem is not your username. That has nothing to do with your play and that fact doesn't go anywhere by changing your nickname. So instead of focusing on things that doesn't matter, start focusing on your game. Start reading books, watching videos, playing smaller stakes (unless you are already playing the lowest) etc.

I know the feeling of wanting a fresh start so maybe try another site and start over there if you desperately want a change. Although you still need to remember that even if your username changes, you don't. You still need to work on your game to become a winning player. Good luck! :)

The cases when PS allow it are very limited, like when your username contains your real name or when it is offensive etc. It's possible but happens VERY rarely and if support told you that is impossible then it pretty much is. As far as I know you can change nickname at Party and MPN.
But as it's been said earlier losing at poker has nothing to do with your nickname. Try to study some or as an option change room or take a break.

Why is it necessary? Changing nick will not improve the player and your game.

I'm afraid what you're going through now are the consequences of not having read the rules and terms and conditions of the software!

Of course you cant change nickname on PokerStars. I try few years ago, when people on tables send me sex offers and hearts,Than after i am curse all table, sites, cards and variance, they understand i am male under girl nickname :).
But still sometimes these nickname have some advantage with perverts,on satts, bubble time etc etc :)

Unfortunately, pokerstars does not allow to change the username. I wish they allow, because I really don't like my username there :D
But there are sites that allow more than one account, like 32red poker.
