I've heard that you have to appeal to the US department of justice. Good luck there, but it's worth a shot for a couple hundred dollars to me. How do you go about doing it? I have no clue.

You can't do anything until they tell us what to do. It has not been announced yet.

It seems like they are still trying to get players money refunded at some point, so don't give up hope. :)

I think we will eventually get our money back. The DOJ was taking applications for a Third Party Administrator to handle the repayment process. They wouldn't do that unless they intended to pay the players back. I recall reading that they wanted to have the TPA chosen by January - so we're due to hear something. In any case, working through the TPA may be tedious, but it will be infinitely easier than dealing directly with the DOJ.

If you get only money you had on.accounts there, it's nothing. True justice would be to ask money with interest during all this time you were unable to withdraw. That risk should fall on pokerstars as well.

I saw a comment on a different forum that the Gov. does not plan to administer a plan and that you can apply under existing rules (?) I don't know what kind of paperwork would exist in this case since it seems to be a unique situation. The point, I guess, being that they do not want to administer a direct refund plan and the players are on their own on how to get their money through whatever is now available. The whole idea seems to be nonsense but I am not informed either way.

LOL!! I've completely forgotten about this thread I've been so busy working lately. Actually I requested a withdrawal into my checking account and they sort of re-deposited it back into my FTP account. I requested another withdrawal, then Black Friday happens. So I guess the $200 is still floating around out there somewhere in cyber-space.
