I like to live games as much as possible. the closest nice place for me to go is about 40 miles a way. The next two places are close to 100 miles away. This post is about cash games and tournaments. I don't play often but when I do play I play good poker, or I believe any way.
We'll call the losing casino: Casino #1
My problem is that Casino #1 is decent place and reputable but, I do nothing but lose, I mean over the past 14 yrs I have won a total of $2565 and lost $21,550, with a total lose of $18985.
Of which $2250 is from tournament placements.
Now here's my bank roll stats for the other places,
Casino #2 I've sporadically played at for the past 9 years have won a total of $8755 with a total buy-in of $4635 with a total of winnings of $4120
Played one tournaments here.
Casino #3 been sporadically playing at for 5 years, have won a total of $11,550 with a total buy in of $7885, with total winnings of $3665
Pretty much evenly divided between tournaments and cash as this is the furthest away and only go when a tournament series I want to play in is scheduled.
I've played in 5 other casinos but once each, and 3 of those casinos I left with with more than I walked in with.
My question to you is: Do you think it is possible that this casino is just bad luck for me and that no matter what I do, I will never win there, or do we just chalk up the differences between the casinos to variance?
